What the actual **** are you talking about. Poch held him out because we didn’t need him to win those games. And he ran around on a sprained ankle for 10 minutes trying to grit it out before getting subbed because he clearly couldn’t move. I thought eyesofhawk would never be topped but holy ****, you just blew him out of the water with that.

It's fine if you want to be a Pulisic meat rider, but he's just ok. He's the 3rd best player on the 5th best team in the 4th best league in the world, but US Soccer treats him like the second coming to draw in casuals. He thought he was too good to get called up to the Gold Cup last summer, so Poch rightfully stripped him of captaincy.
The back line didn’t do him any favors but you can’t be that deliberate there. Not to mention a bad first touch and then absolute turf monster that you just don’t see at this level. Just about the entire team played below their standard but Freese and Ream were extraordinarily woeful.
Sometimes the greatest ability is availability and he just doesn't have it. Injury isn't necessarily his fault but he always seems to be either actively hurt or recovering. He is a much better player when he doesn't have to try to be the only scoring threat but you also can't say anything before his injury last night was a good showing by him.
