Lived in Hillview after leaving Shepherdsville. In Jefferson county, lived off of Preston Highway at Indian Trail.
Know the area well. So a BC grad 93 huh? Purdy sure that's when the Mrs graduated from BC.
High school, Metcalfe. Last 38 years has been Barren.
I moved to Shepherdsville from Jefferson County in 2004, my daughter started kindergarten that year & graduated from Bullitt Central in 2017, we live in the Mallard Lake subdivision. You still live in Shepherdsville?

Isn't there a Morgan Count High School that was in the process of being restored? My mother used to go dancing there back in the 70s

No. I moved to Lexington in 1993 to attend UK. Never left. So, Lexington is really home. Love it here. Where is that subdivision? Never heard of it? I lived in a trailer park, down Highway 44 and Pitts Point Road. Ghetto as hell. But I loved it as a kid.

Man I love that area used to travel down there when my boy was young for a football tournament around 2010-2014. We have been down there 3 times in the last few months to the Moonlite BBQ INN. That place is an awesome place to eat we were just there Saturday. It takes us 3.5 hours to get there but that food is worth it but man so is the nice scenic drive from where we live.
Bobby Watson who played for rupp was a hell of acoach back in the seventies . He had some great Owensboro teams . Cliff Hagan too.

Brings back memories. Absolutely worshipped Rod Drake and Dwight Higgs when they were at KWC.
Born just south of Chicago but grew up in Bowling Green (well, actually Rich Pond), Warren County. Now I live in Phoenix but trying to get the wife on board with moving back.
I really miss Paducah and going to PT football games.
Paducah Tilghman is the only High School in the United States that has won 2000 basketball games and 800 football games.
