This could get interesting...
Yup, this is a big deal
Ukraine has carried out an impressive counterstrike following tonight's attack on Kyiv.
They managed to hit the Omsk oil refinery with an FP-1/2 drone, nearly 2,500 km from the Ukrainian border!
Long considered out of reach due to its location beyond the Urals, this facility was among the most heavily guarded sites in Russia's oil industry. Distance is clearly no longer a guarantee of safety.
The refinery's importance is considerable. With an annual production capacity of 22 million tons, it is one of Russia's largest and most modern. It was precisely one of the refineries meant to alleviate the ongoing gasoline shortage in the western part of the country.
By targeting critical infrastructure, Kyiv aims to reduce Moscow's ability to fuel its economy and military apparatus rather than terrorizing the population. A true tactical success that demonstrates Ukraine's growing prowess in deep strikes on Russian territory.
While Russia regularly carries out strikes against residential areas, hospitals, schools, or other civilian infrastructure, the Ukrainians defend themselves while respecting the Geneva Conventions and international law.
Bravo
