IRL - How much of your identity is wrapped around politics?

Honestly? I'd say maybe 5%. Politics didn't come up a single time we were on vacation.
I did try to post something I thought was cool. People would rather rage out at each other, though. I'm enjoying the WC thread, though.

I’m not political at all. In between times I’m throwing blood on kids walking out of McDonalds, blocking entrances to Planned Parenthood and cheering at my NRA meetings, you’ll never hear me talk politics.

Good for you. The day politics comes up (by my choice) on a vacation is the day I should be out in a home because I’ve probably lost it.
Scrubs, chis, the growls guy, etc…the energy it must take to give a shite about it to the level even displayed on here. No way a person like that can just shut it off completely IRL.

I don’t do any of those things. But I’m nevertheless pretty boring IRL, if that helps.
I’m maybe 9-10%. I work in a red area with children so I can’t express political views. The Christians get to come into our school and do that. PragerU gets to do that.
The guy who lives across the street from me is a hardcore MAGA. Gun on his nightstand. One of the best and caring neighbors I have ever had. I defend him anytime people complain about him in our HOA. The only time I say anything political to him is about education.

"Politics" makes me lots of money IRL ... Trump's an absolute awful, awful, ... did I mention awful? ... piece of shiznit dirtbag scumbum turd-licking dog fart sniffing felonious child molesting raping grifting ... wait, where was I? Lost myself for a second there. Oh yeah, Trump's bad, but his absolute lunacy is great for investment strategies that profit off variability and chaos. So I have to delve into it a great deal ... but, in terms of dealing with it in my personal life? Not at all. I mean, I don't really deal with any MAGAts, because I'm largely only around smart successful folks (those coastal elites, amirite?), and we're always making snide comments to one another about Trump whenever we are discussing a current event that pops up in casual discussion ... and if we happen upon a rogue MAGAt, the second that fact is known we all just say "ew" aloud and walk away ... but other than that ...

As a real conservative that is disgusted at what the unwashed have done to my former party, MAGA is not allowed in my physical orbit. I understand.
Pretty much the only time I talk politics is making fun of the die hards on this board. Pretty much the only political things I see come from this message board. If it wasn’t for the crying on this message board, I wouldn’t know most of the political things happening today.
one example would be the reflecting pool. I have not seen a single thing about it outside of this message board. Yet I’ve seen it brought up in multiple threads on here.
for the most part I don’t even care much about politics on this board. I simply make fun of the extreme situations on both sides. There just happens to be more losers on the left on this board so I tend to make fun of them more.

Oh that's so funny. If I were to place a "TRUMP" bumper sticker on my car, or put a sign up, they would vandalized. The question is to what degree. Will they slash my tires? Splash point on the house or the car? The psychosis is real.
