Crazy storm blew through North Plainfield last night. Lost a huge branch off the black walnut tree onto my neighbor’s garage. What is it about July 3 and crazy storms in this town?

With Philadelphia hitting 101° today, that marks three straight days of 101° or higher. That is the first time that has ever happened with records going back to 1873.

This is also the third time a streak of 3 days of triple digits has occurred. The other two streaks came from 7/2-4/1966 and 7/8-10/1993. #PAwx

Posted the same thought in the other thread started by DJ Spanky. It helped that this happened mid-morning on a Monday rather than a crowded Saturday or Sunday, but I still can't believe those people in the video made it out unscathed (veiled Sopranos reference).
