Also, who knows if he would have continued to do dumb sh*t at Iowa? We will never know, but it IS possible Iowa COULD have been the best environment to keep him out of trouble....
It's far more likely that he would have drawn Angelo into his Cluster B nonsense and screwed thing up with him, too, than he would have been rehabilitated by Iowa. I get it, Iowa did wonders for ADS and others, but the situations were far different. ADS wanted to help himself and Iowa helped him do that. AJ doesn't appear to remotely want to turn his life around, just go to church and memorize the Bible and then use that as a crutch to keep acting like a sociopath.

In Shaylee's interview, she was asked what she thought about the whole Ferrari family and she said they were too close and always rushed to defend their family even when they are wrong. Then she was asked about her opinion of Angelo specifically and she said he was very nice and always treated her kindly. Put that together and it really does say that Angelo is the exception in a whole family full of douchebags. You guys should want him as far away as possible from every single member of his family at all times.

Be careful about using that as an indicator of intelligence. Just might come back to haunt you.

Man. One of the most savage takedowns i've ever heard was from my head coach.

Having an argument with one of the parents regarding why their kid wasn't having more success - he's so smart, he's going to Stanford, HE SPEAKS TWO LANGUAGES!

My head coach: The guy working at 7-11 speaks 2 languages.

:ROFLMAO:

One of the most savage takedowns i've ever seen between coach and parent. Parent just shut up and walked away. There was never a conversation again about coaching deficiencies.

The guy at 7-11 is probable more intelligent than you’re giving him credit for. But I’m not sure how multiple languages helps on the mat. Dude called me stupid. The only thing I see him excelling at is anger.

For law yes but public opinion we can judge early after all the crap Aj has done.
Saying that someone is "accused of strangling a pregnant woman" and saying that they "strangled a pregnant woman" are different, unless you saw it happen. Personally, I think this jerk needs to be kept away from college wrestling.

However, assuming guilt, even if that's the most likely situation, really doesn't help law enforcement put creeps away. It's just mob justice. The point is for law enforcement to put creeps away. If AJ hadn't been given so many "second chances,"we wouldn't even be talking about this anymore.

Thanks Plato.

Forgive me. I forgot that most folks from Iowa only speak one language and most hd”ave probably not visited any other countries.
Most? What makes you think Iowa is any different from any other midwestern state? Or for that matter most any other state that does not border another country? You're getting a bit pretentious in your attempts at defending yourself.

Defending myself? What makes you think I believe Iowa is different from any other midwestern state? Comprehension skills seem to be lacking with some of you. But if the shoe fits….

But you of all people somehow managed to escape Iowa and "elevated" yourself in The Land of Fruits and Nuts North. 😂 You must be SUPER smart knowing you'd transition so seemlessly into the culture! 😂 Bravo!

I really thought he would be done with issues like this, especially after dealing with
all of the things in his past.
Just crazy for a person to have this many complications and so much drama in their life.
From the initial get go I wasn't real thrilled about the idea of AJ coming to Iowa
but I tried to keep an open mind on it because most people learn from their mistakes
and also, because Angelo was committed to us.
After the debacle at the SS, I was a thanks, but no thanks.
I'll never forget the look on Dan Dennis's face when the splits and double birds happened.
It says a lot if you can get a "what the F" look from Dan.
Anyway, in my opinion the least of AJ's worries is finding a team to be on and hopefully for
him and all the people he's around, he can get his **** together and quit being
a menace to society.

With the cup being played here in the U.S., this has been a topic of discussion on social media. Money drives motivation. The guy at 7-11 has to speak 2 languages. A businessman in Germany would probably want to learn French and vice versa...especially if you live near the border. That's why many Americans in the Southwest know some Spanish. I have a white buddy who is fluent because he was a construction foreman and it helped. Most Euros speak some English because of the UK and so much of popular culture/tourism has been generated from the States. Most Americans don't do foreign languages because they don't need to. The only one that would make sense is Spanish.

As for tourism, one can do a lifetime of travel here and still not see everything. An Englishman has to go to the Alps to see mountains. Many Americans can see mountains from their porch. Natural wonders we have. I also think it's a difference in priorities. We work hard here in the States and for our time off, just want to take it easy. I would definitely recommend seeing places like Italy if art, religion, architecture etc is what interests you. Italy is a beautiful country with good food. I wouldn't break the bank in doing so. Personally, I would love to take the Band of Brothers tour through Europe. I also wouldn't mind visiting Scotland and Jolly ole' because my Mom is from Scotland. But it won't be one of my great regrets if I don't.

I'm always a little puzzled when people look at a complete garbage human being and hope the best for him and his future just because they have some athletic talent.

This guy beat and choked out his pregnant girlfriend. That's a trauma she's going to carry with her the rest of her life.

You're more compassionate than I am. I say *** him. Whether he can get his sh*t together or not, he's caused serious pain to others, this probably isn't the first time, and it's just dumb luck that his driving violations didn't kill somebody.

He's 25 years old. Play time's over. I'm wishing the worst for him. Prison, a few jailhouse beatdowns, whatever.
