11 years since he graduated from IOWA.

The Seahorses Mikawa is a Japanese professional basketball team based in Kariya, Aichi Prefecture and sponsored by Aisin. The team competes in the B.League Premier, the highest division of the B.League, as a member of the Western Conference. The team plays its home games at Wing Arena Kariya. The team was founded in 1947.

This will be Aaron's 2nd consecutive year with the team.

How much is he making a year? He’s made a pretty good living playing upper league over seas and has a home in IC.

Couldn’t find link but after sweet 16 game Robbie Hummel on Dan Patrick and telling crazy stories playing over seas and one in particular in Russian League. Was on whites team one year and at end of season just couldn’t wait for it to be done but in deciding game of playoff series owner told player get extra 100K in cash if they won and they did.

Seahorse Mikawa is one of the higher paying teams in the B league. Foreign players and ex NBA players make between $500K and $1M a year. I's say Aaron is doing OK. Been to Japan numerous times, expats get treated very well and the Japanese people are nice.

Thanks for info. I know most leagues limit on American players but they are also usually highest paid. I’ve heard nothing but good things from people who have visited there so sounds like a good place to be outside the states for him.

white I remember had a kid shortly after graduating and has definitely made some nice $ playing overseas. I think few years after being 2nd rd pick by wizards turned down training camp invite. At the time was making more $ playing elsewhere then end of bench guy in the nba would (could be different now). Can’t blame him and the wizards are one of worst organizations in nba.

It would be a blast to travel there and make a plan to show up at one of these games with a big Hawkeye flag! I'm sure Aaron would sign it.

From Denver on United you are probably 13 hours to Narita. Economy is around $1500, I would guess first class is North of $6,000. Expensive way to get an autograph. Trust me, international flights are not a blast.
