This settles the debate on the merit of the red card. It was soft and FIFA responded as such.

Most knew it was a bad call, but I'm shocked that FIFA overturned it.

The US’ problem has always been goal scoring and finishing up top. Having their best finisher and scorer out there is a significant boost.

Given how rare overturning a suspension like this is, it's almost certainly a tacit admission that the original call was quite weak.

Yeah, gotta admit that this is a poor look for the Belgian team.

The statement from the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) continued: “In order to safeguard the legitimate rights of all participating teams and to protect the fundamental principles of fair play in our sport, both at this FIFA World Cup and at future editions of the tournament, the RBFA is investigating all potential options.”"
This penalty in no way effected their team or their play.
Its like whining that targeting was called off against tOSU player the game before they played PSU. I cant imagine PSU AD then lobbying officials to retrospectivley call targeting so player was out vs PSU.

It is quite astonishing given the precedent. That said, they should just shut up and get to it on the pitch. Might be motivation the US team isn’t prepared for. Will be a fun match.
