You can say it forever--and I'll keep correcting you based on what the rule isYep and I will keep on saying it was the wrong call. Get used to it.
Your opinion doesn't trump reality as much as you may want it to

Most knew it was a bad call, but I'm shocked that FIFA overturned it.This settles the debate on the merit of the red card. It was soft and FIFA responded as such.
Terrific news for the USMNT. Their chances go up considerably now, IMO.
The US’ problem has always been goal scoring and finishing up top. Having their best finisher and scorer out there is a significant boost. Most knew it was a bad call, but I'm shocked that FIFA overturned it.
The chances go up, but considerably" is a stretch...maybe 3-4%, but I'll take anything we can get.
Great now if USA loses who can we blame?![]()
USMNT's Folarin Balogun has red card suspended by FIFA, striker available to face Belgium
FIFA has suspended the red card U.S. striker Folarin Balogun received in the team's match against Bosnia-Herzegovina, making him available to face Belgium in the round of 16 at the World Cup.www.espn.com
Go USA beat Ghana. ( I actually made a friend from Ghana this spring )Great now if USA loses who can we blame?
I guess it will have to be Franklin.
This is a big game. Belgium is a top 10 team.Go USA beat Ghana
I am pumped! today is tits tooThis is a big game. Belgium is a top 10 team.
Given how rare overturning a suspension like this is, it's almost certainly a tacit admission that the original call was quite weak.
Regardless, in the end it's wonderful to see that justice was done and the U.S. will be at full strength.
Worse than diving on the pitch. A corporate dive iywWell apparently Belguim is considering "all options" as they aren't happy

I’m surprised that he wasn’t blamed for the red card to begin with.
They aren't saying the ruling was incorrect--read the statementHmmm.....
Or it got handled the way FIFA understands with bribes. This settles the debate on the merit of the red card. It was soft and FIFA responded as such.

Yeah, gotta admit that this is a poor look for the Belgian team.Well apparently Belguim is considering "all options" as they aren't happy

I think Belgium is justifiably outraged given the statement releasedYeah, gotta admit that this is a poor look for the Belgian team.
From The Athletic: "The Belgian federation said it was “astonished” by the decision, that it was in “direct contradiction” with the competition regulations and said it is exploring “all potential options”. The statement from the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) continued: “In order to safeguard the legitimate rights of all participating teams and to protect the fundamental principles of fair play in our sport, both at this FIFA World Cup and at future editions of the tournament, the RBFA is investigating all potential options.”"
This penalty in no way effected their team or their play.
Its like whining that targeting was called off against tOSU player the game before they played PSU. I cant imagine PSU AD then lobbying officials to retrospectivley call targeting so player was out vs PSU.
