We're done cleaning for the party, ribs have about 2 hours left, booze is stocked and I spent far more on fireworks than I intended, again.
God Bless America and GBMF Red!
We are in the same boat. Have food and booze ready. Just waiting for guests to arrive 4:00 pm PDT. No fireworks for us. 85 degrees 23% humidity and very windy. $400 fine for shooting off fireworks. We already have one fire about 30 miles from town that has created a level 3 evacuation notice. GBR! (We are having some Cougs, some Central Washington U Wildcats, home of Jon Kitna, a Penn State grad and a couple who went to the University of North Dakota.)

Had a great day yesterday with grilling games and fireworks. Best fireworks ever and we've been doing it for longer than I can remember which is since 4 yrs old in 68. Cleaning up today, saying goodbye to family and friends and my soon to be son in law and his family. Great time. Great weekend. I remember vividly the Bicentennial. Glad DJT is commander in chief

Had an okay time with the soon to be father in law...some lame fireworks and stupid games...griing was just okay at best. Dude kept blabbing about how it was the best since 1968...

Anyway, we finally got to leave today after I was done doing stuff to his daughter...she still thinks we are going to get married. She has no idea at all that I am bouncing.

Happy 4th!

remember in the Chester ne cemetery there is a grave for little boy blue so might want to tread lightly with the guys daughter you might just disappear real easy to get lost along the river or possibly a train wreck 😉

Drove by there yesterday on the way back from the DFW area. 11+ hours in the saddle. Crops look great all the way across Kansas and Nebraska. Green all the way to Ft Worth.

There is a good chunk North and East of Hastings, and some around the Sutton area where the corn was mowed off by a massive hailstorm a few weeks ago

We have been fortunate not much wind or hail in my area but you don’t have to go far and there are areas that need rain, my brother lives around the Daykin area he’s received way less rain than I have roughly 12 miles away and he’s had hail my dad had a saying anytime you can get a rain in the summer without wind or hail considering yourself lucky
