I would agree with Suh being the biggest snub. Not necessarily because he deserved it more than Tommie but because Ingram had a relatively pedestrian year by RB standards for Heisman. Ridiculous IMO for him to win it. At lease George almost got to 2k yards. Though I still think Tommie should have won - but of course I’m a bit biased.

Not that I wasn’t rooting for Suh , but Ingram had 1658 yds and George in his year was 1826 not a huge difference. Ingram was the best player on the best team.
I don't think Eddie was even the leading rusher in the Big Ten that year, was he? Didn't Darnell Autry from NW have more yards?
Not quite 1785. Eddie had a 329 yd game against Illinois during that year. But as Glaud said above if LP doesn’t go deck climbing after the MSU game he runs away with it .
Tommie was the bigger snub IMO. The leader who got TO over the hump, was a generational player and leader, and his body of work that year from Game 1 on was special. No one ever talks about George’s season whereas Tommie is on all-time lists and all-time teams (granted, so is Suh)
Suh also deserved it but that Texas game skewed opinions in a dramatic way. That game was literally INSANE for him. He got snubbed because of the dumb early voters.
I think if you remove the Texas game, Suh is a legit second or third place finisher. Whereas, you could remove any game from the 95 season and it wouldn’t change Tommie’s standing in my opinion. (obviously the Fiesta Bowl was after the Heisman so it wasn’t included anyway).

I would have loved to have seen Suh win. But if defensive linemen won Heismans, Rich Glover would have won his junior year and Glover and Johnny the Jet would have gone back-to-back.
Voters are also stupid about voting for guys on defense.
They were both Deserving. Suh was so nationally recognizable as the dominate in College Football. His senior year there was no doubt he was the best player in the country.
But I’ve always gone with Frazier. QB’s always have the advantage and favor of the Heisman Voters. But Tommy didn’t get it.
They keep track of an individual QB’s W-L record. Tommie’s is hard to beat. He was surrounded by a better team than Suh, but Tommie made plays and moved the balls when they had to be made.
“How Many Tackles Can One Man Break!” That one play demonstrated what failure of the Heisman Voters previous decision and everyone knew it.
Suh was an incredible force in the NFL and Tommie didn’t get that opportunity. But the Heisman is about the College game.
And they both got screwed.
TM is a player that has never gotten the credit and recognition he deserved, by Nebraska Fans.
I don’t truly think he got snubbed as a Heisman. I was being sarcastic but as soon as the topic came up, my mind went back to Taylor’s freshman year where he started getting some Heisman hype halfway through the season. He was so electric and fun to watch. And then I remembered that video on YouTube. It went viral that year, at least within Husker Nation on social media.
True that. And if you want an example from a year in which a Husker won the trophy, Ed Reed didn't finish in the Top 10 in 2001. That's just ridiculous.
If Tommie didn't suffer through those blood clots, I firmly believe he would have won the Heisman outright.

Tommie was penalized for being a teammate of LP its that simple, the voters voted for George in protest of what Nebraska was branded as being win at all costs and the big ten along with Notre Dame hold the majority of voters to sway the election, look at Payton manning and how he got robbed by Charles woodsen and the big 10
If let’s say LP wouldn’t have climbed SF apartment building that night, he would have smashed all the running back records that season and wouldn’t been even close after just playing in two games.

While both were deserving of winning it, had Tommie won in 1995, I do not think Crouch wins in 2001. That always felt like a "make-up" call in 2001.

Tommie didn’t have a, Texas Tech 31 - 10 loss at home. that was not really a great game for Suh. And also @ Kansas he didn’t have a tackle. I know he opened things up for others but we are comparing him to Frazier not mark ingram
