Sliced ham, long grain and wild rice, kitchen sliced green beans, pinto beans with Vidalia onions, unsweetened iced tea, tapioca pudding.
Fried chicken, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, corn, unsweetened iced tea, vanilla ice cream.
Year ‘round now with farm raised. My bro-in-law co-owns Shuckleford Banks Shellfish in Beaufort and finally convinced me that farm raised can be eaten in warm months because they are sterile. Last night I was at Oyster House Brewing in Asheville.
I spend a week in Beaufort every year. I assume that is typo and it's supposed to be Shackleford not Shuckleford?
Dinner tonight on the Sunset Terrace at the Grove Park Inn. I’m trying to decide between steak or fish. Awesome menu. Awfully expensive. $75-$100 for a steak and “would you like a side with that?”
I ended up with the 8 oz. filet mignon, roasted Brussels sprouts, leak soup, and a few bites of my wife’s salad. Perhaps the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had with rye whiskey and a little maple syrup.

Stopped at TJ’s Deli in W-S on the way home and got an Italian hoagie and onion rings. I ate half the sandwich and the onion rings for lunch and finished the sandwich with some cheese straws from Salem Kitchen for supper.

We had some kind of crockpot chicken stuff with peas and asparagus and other things served over white rice. I’m having leftovers for lunch.

Last night I had a BLT on homemade bread. Lunch today will be the same. Tonight we’re having pork ribs, baked beans, and mac & cheese.
Apparently we are the only people on here who eat. Lmao I enjoy reading what people eat. Gives me ideas.
Tonight was simple. Supreme pizza and side salad. For dessert, Mama Dip's chocolate pudding. (Recipe from her 1st cookbook.)
