You know Sasha Killeya Jones was unable to ever play college basketball again because the classes that kept him eligible at UK didn't transfer to any other school.

You know the old saying about glass houses right?

Stop lying. SKJ left NCSt on his own after sitting out his mandated transfer year due to program issues not academic eligibility. Second, the fact you’d try to excuse 18 years of rampant academic fraud where 1500 students athletes were steered to those paper, non-existent classes to keep them eligible with a single, BASELESS allegation against UK is a joke. I DO know that saying and it’s doesn’t remotely apply to this situation. Now do McCants. FOH clown.

Disagree. This is when a hardcore sports fan sounds a bit silly. Think about it, ask anyone who isn't obsessed with basketball which makes more sense: taking less money, creating a super team, managing to work together for one goal without egos, and achieving that goal vs being the one superstar on a team and dragging them to a title. That person would say creating a super team for a title seems smarter. Some may call it a cheat code of sorts but it's not. There's no wrong way to go about creating a championship caliber team. I'm telling you, ask anyone who isn't posting online about basketball in July and none of them will say, "oh for sure, one guy putting an entire franchise on his back and winning a title is the way to go." LeBron wasted years on the Cavs that first go-around trying to be that player you want and got zero rings.

Youre talking about teams but the subject is the player. LeBron is still great, just should never be considered in the goat convo. Anyone in the goat convo shouldn't need a super team to win.

Hakeem is well above him.

His first two titles, yes, but the Cleveland title and the LA title his supporting cast wasn't any better than guys like Jordan, Bird, and Magic had. And while he did fall short in the finals several times, he did drag some pretty mediocre rosters to the Finals several times.

He had Kyrie and love. Also if Steph stays healthy they handily lose that series.

The bubble doesn't count but that team had AD and others. Bron wasn't even its best player.

I do agree he dragged some teams to the finals, but that isn't goat worthy. Ai, Reggie Miller, and many others did the same.

Yeah, Jordan's GOAT. But Jordan had Pippen, Bird had Parish and McHale, Magic had Kareem and Worthy. That's my point - even the all time greats had other multi-year all stars alongside them for their titles.

We saw pippen without jordan. Neither McHale and especially nor parish would've been as good without Bird.

LeBron is basically a more physically imposing pippen. Hes an elite Robin, but not an elite Batman.

That still makes him an amazing player. Just not worthy of goat talk.

Lmao. What in the world are you talking about? Who was it on the deans list that couldn’t even read? If a program ever deserved to be shut down for good, it would be UNC.
