I think 197 is best for him. Hope he can land somewhere and have one last good year. Had heard/seen Oklahoma might be an option but we’ll see.

The only thing with this guy is if he wrestles without any off the mat issues? Which hasn’t happened so far .
He was like Harper Murray to the Wrestlng team. I am glad he moved on.

edit: I would not have cared if she too moved on last off season

My wife and I talked to him at the airport a couple months ago. He was using a wheelchair and he seemed kind of bitter. Said he wanted to stay at NU but they weren't making him a decent offer. Talked about how he wrestled up a weight class to help out and didn't feel appreciated. I didn't know what to make of what he was saying.

Sounds like he just wanted more money...like all of us.

As I recall, he stated on multiple occasions that he wanted to wrestle up. He was probably having trouble making weight, but he’s certainly not a heavyweight either. He is a dimwit. That much is certain. Adios amigo.

more information from the PSU board

How come
How come the whole "turns out the Corvette was owned by a deadman" rumor never gained traction on the boards?

Can you deep dive into that one too?

I ain't touching it.
Well, I touched it. It seems Willie was a victim of his own algorithm.

"The rumor that the Chevrolet Corvette A.J. Ferrari was driving belonged to a deceased individual is a misunderstanding driven by incomplete information in the initial police radio transmissions.

When social media users analyzed the scanner traffic from the night of the chase, they heard dispatchers running the vehicle's registration tags through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database. The system flagged the car's registration with a hit, prompting listeners to jump to wild conclusions about a "dead man's car" or a stolen vehicle.

However, official updates and the police report clarify the reality behind the registration:The Extradition Warrant: The database hit on the Corvette's registration did not trigger because the owner was deceased, but because the primary operator—A.J. Ferrari himself—had a history of active out-of-state warrants. In fact, earlier in the year, he had been pulled over in Nebraska on an extradition warrant out of Texas for a previous vehicle evasion incident.

Positive Identification: The Nebraska State Patrol confirmed that once Ferrari abandoned the Corvette in a ditch and ran into the brush, troopers searched the interior. Inside, they found his personal physical identification and documentation directly tying him to the vehicle.

Because Ferrari was not charged with grand theft auto or driving a stolen vehicle—only flight to avoid arrest, willful reckless driving, and obstructing a peace officer—the state patrol treated the vehicle as legally occupied by him at the time of the chase."

Makes sense to me. I think I understand the rumors from the facts now

yep--i had heard this rumor earlier today. AJ is not a kid anymore. He's a grown *** man.

He could have really done something much less destructive with his life.

Coincidentally, spending some time behind bars could serve him well.

In America, we euthanize animals that are aggressive, violent, and continue to harm people.

hell, we even euthanize pet squirrels and gorillas that haven’t done anything wrong.

kids dont get dismissed from Blair very often

Wrestler AJ Ferrari has been officially dismissed, dropped, or turned away from several prominent college wrestling programs. However, there is no public record of him being formally dismissed from his high school wrestling teams, which include Allen High School (Texas), Blair Academy (New Jersey), and Bergen Catholic High School (New Jersey), despite transferring between them. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
The university wrestling programs that have dismissed him or separated from him due to misconduct or disciplinary actions include: [1, 2, 3]
  • Oklahoma State University: He was formally dismissed from the team in July 2022 following a sexual assault investigation. The related felony sexual battery charges were eventually dismissed by a judge in October 2023. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
  • University of Iowa: After committing to the Hawkeyes, he parted ways with the program before ever enrolling or competing. This separation occurred after he was disqualified at the 2023 Soldier Salute tournament for punching an opponent and making obscene gestures toward the crowd. [1, 2]
  • University of North Carolina (UNC): He initially signed and committed to transfer to UNC, but the university administration ultimately denied his admission and turned him away following student backlash and public editorials highlighting his past controversies. [1, 2]
  • University of Nebraska: He wrestled for the Cornhuskers during the 2025–2026 season but parted ways with the program ahead of the 2026–2027 season. Team coaches framed it as a mutual decision to "move on and go in a different direction" following escalating legal troubles
