Love your first matchup…love me some Bobby but that’s a tall order against that MD crew…the last matchup I just don’t get, the Hershey PA High school team is not really know for football are you thinking maybe Central Dauphin, Harrisburg, or York Central?

Would like to see Andrean (IN) play some CCL opponents. Some more St. Louis MO Catholics vs. Chicago Catholics too.
Oh I like you idea better! I think a CCL Green matchup would be a better game. My scenario wanted MC. vs a Trinity, CA matchup or one of the top teams in TX. but then I went on a rant of how I’m tired of seeing Brownsburg, IN ranked higher year in and out. I was at their state Championship win and I wasn’t impressed. I don’t think the score would have been close. Possibly even a clock if the team showed up like they did VS LWE.
The Brownsberg coach gets a lot of respect

Indy has great football. Cathedral vs. Rita/Naz/Franny. Warren Central vs Morgan Park. Brownsburg vs East.

Yeah, they opened with an impressive win over Archbishop Spalding (MD), the eventual state champion, then pretty much coasted through the rest of a weak schedule. I went back and watched a few of their games online, and I just don’t see MC losing.
They’ve got a great head coach, a solid sophomore QB, a really quick WR, and a few big linemen. After that, I thought the talent dropped off quite a bit.
I even took a deep dive using AI to see if I was missing something. The best explanation I was given is that the algorithm rewarded them for winning by large margins, while MC gets penalized for playing a much tougher schedule and winning by smaller margins. Also, didn't help that MC’s national opponent Moeller was dealing with injuries halfway through the season and couldn’t fill those in key positions. If they won state as projected MC’s probably in front last season and higher in the preseason rankings.

Couldn't find anything for Cathedral on NFHS. Their hudl only had highlights. But I did find a youtube channel Indiana SRN that has a few of their games from last year up. Maybe we'll be lucky and they'll stream this one.

They should pay the cancelation fee and help find them a suitable opponent. Then schedule Corner Canyon. The kid clearly wants to face competition, first it was our favorite 6A and 7A teams, now a team that beat IMG.
The Montini/Corner Canyon game would look a lot like the Montini/Hoopston game will.
BBQ chicken. But kid still has confidence in his squad and wants the challenge. Coach should embrace this opportunity
Even with a second half running clock, Montini vs Hoopeston could probably be 120-0 if Montini wants. Hoopeston is a perennial bottom dweller team from a league that doesn’t typically have much success either.
