I cut the grass about a hour ago in this. It was brutal!

Looks like you got to be a member now to view AmericanWx? Not sure why

Was 96° when I got home around 6:15 - 4 hours later it's only dropped down to 86° so far. Looks like the AC will be running all night.

'Twas 79° when I got up at 7 this morning.

Rolling into work around 9'ish, it was already 95°.

Just got in about a half hour ago from spraying weeds in my football field long stone driveway and first round of water, wetting down wallows and watermelons for the animals. It's hot and I feel like I just went 10 rounds.

Don't mind it, with coming inside for AC and water every hour. This is the type of weather where animals can die especially chickens. I'll be going out in another two hours for the same animal routine.

Cold you can dress for. Heat, not so much.
My favorite saying, "I can put another layer on, but I can't rip my skin off". Until I become an old lizard and need the sun for heat, no way am I retiring down south. We tried several trips down south to see where we'd like to go and I'd be stuck inside most of the year.
