Democrats weren't promising to lower prices. They knew the reality. Inflation had already dropped by 2024 but to the MAGA world, "inflation" was still high because prices were high. Trump was going to drop "the inflation". I repeatedly asked during the campaign months how Trump was going to drop prices on goods and services. I knew the answer. Now we see the reality. He has no plan for that and no ability to deliver.

Ahh yes, Obama/Boehner care that stripped away the affordable part as a concession to the republicans.

The keys were handed to an angry child.
They knew reality alright. They know they pushed inflation to the highest level in 50 years. Lol.

We already held the election on this and the results speak for themselves.

Hey contards, how is the economy doing? Enjoying the world peace and cheap prices?

Well done!!

"But we are almost at record highs in the stock market!!"

:ROFLMAO:
The economy is doing well and the Democrats can't stand it!

Housing prices flat year over year. Inflation a little high, but with oil at, checks ticker, $67 a barrel, inflation will come crashing down next print and your tears will turn into a flood.

Nothing is more adorable than MAGA claiming to be Constitutional conservatives and capitalists when they also support government ownership of private corporations, foreign wars, tariffs, crackdowns on free speech, corporate welfare, massive spending, and trillions in new debt.

Communism = Democratic Party

If you don’t want to be the party of communist, stop electing communist.

Let me guess you ar one of those people who thinks we will do communism “the right way”.

Lol you clowns will never learn.
No, I'm saying you have no f*cking clue what communism (or socialism, or Marxism) actually means. As displayed by your posting. Using buzzwords you don't understand from other idiots on your Twitter feed makes you look foolish.

The economy is stagnant at best and MAGAs think it's getting better. TDS

Ahh narrative thinking. I want the economy to be strong. I won't shed a tear if things turn around under Trump. I will would much rather gripe about Trump being an angry child with a successful economy than have to gripe about the direction of our country/economy.

Trump was elected and things got worse. That's the bottom line right now. There is still time for Trump to turn it around but let's just say I'm skeptical of his chances.

The overall economic picture is much better than when Trump took office libtard. Inflation is the only issue to be concerned about.

The economy is doing well by all means except inflation and I expect that to trend lower if oil stays below $75 a barrel. It’s train g $69 this morning. Inflation is going much better under Trump so it’s a moot argument from the left.

And I’ll just say Kamala Harris. No one thinks she would be good at running the economy. No one. We voted on that. The economy was the -#1 issue last election and MAGA won in a landslide. All swing states, popular vote, and electoral college.
Is it Kamala’s fault that Republican voters in red states vote against their own interests?

Also, Trump openly bragged about the election being rigged in his favor 2 years ago. Anyone who thinks that he all of a sudden magically won every single swing state and every single swing county in those states legitimately is just lying to themselves. Why do you think Elon came up with the DOGE scheme to cut all the agencies and investigations into his crimes against the US government?

Biden steered the US economy from the shambles that Trump left it in to the envy of the world. Trump came in, blindly slapped a bunch of stupid tariffs for no reason resulting in worsened inflation, higher prices, closing of American factories, and slowed growth. He then started an unwinnable war to distract from his involvement in a pedophilia ring resulting in rising energy costs. Throughout this time he has openly stated that he has no concern for the average Americans financial situation, and has also explicitly stated that he loves inflation and wants a weaker US dollar.

He told you he would lower prices, increase job growth, and start no new wars. Instead he has implemented policies that have directly caused price increases and job loss, in addition to an unnecessary war that is costing our military billions of dollars daily, not to mention the pointless loss of American soldiers.

You have simply fallen into an ever growing group of gullible idiots who are easily manipulated by fear of an equitable and diverse society to be convinced to vote to make things worse for everyone.

You are not American

You know, you’re right. Libs didn’t just vote for several communists.
Centrist/milquetoast establishment dems are at like a 20% approval rating. Why wouldn’t someone who’s preaching something different/change make some headway? We’ll see if it has any national appeal, but these are local races in blue areas they’re winning now

I remember when Democrats, many on this board, said the border couldn't be secure and those caravans couldnt be stopped. It was an impossible task, that we just had to deal with it.

Then i remember, Trump came in and stopped that nonsense in about 3 months.

The economy is humming by all measures except inflation. Inflation shows every sign that it will come down if oil prices come down. It's that simple. The next CPI print will be much lower. Inflation peaked much lower and for less time than under the democrat admin. It would be an absolute total disaster if Kamala, the worst candidate in US political history, was in charge of the country.

Inflation will come into line and the economy is doing great.

Inflation is up from 2024.
The results are speaking.
Inflation was a total disaster under democrats. The number one issue last election was the economy and inflation and Democrats lost in a landslide. They lost the eclectoral college, the popular vote, and every.single,swing.state.

At mid terms inflation will be coming back nicely into line. It was truly transitory, unlike the lies the democrats told us.

talking points or not, if you can't see a definitive move to the left with these elections......

What interests me, is if your candidate runs on these issues, do you vote for socialists or not.

Yall say this before every election. Clinton was a communist. Obama was a communist. Biden was a communist. Kamala was a communist.

I remember back in 2020 when your fellow MAGA @scotchtiger asked me the same question you just asked when Bernie was leading in the primary polls for the Dems. I told him at the time, "Biden's going to win, and then you're just going to call him a communist too." That's exactly what happened. It always happens. You can set your watch to it.

Yes, pretending that inflation is just fine was a great strategy for Biden and the Dems. I'm sure it will work out for Trump and the Republicans.

If oil stays below $75 the inflation numbers will be much lower than where they are when its time to vote in November.

If democrats can sell "transitory" inflation for almost a whole 4 year term, then i think Trump can do it for a couple of quarters.

Let's not forget, inflation reached it's highest point in 50 years almost 9% under the biden admin! Crazy!

And then, let me catch my breath, and then they wanted us to vote for the economically illiterate, worst candidate in US political history Kamala Harris!

Actually, a Lot of DSA Members Are Communists

https://www.city-journal.org/article/democratic-socialists-of-america-communism

Self-avowed Communists were not always so well represented in DSA’s leadership, but the DSA’s leftward shift has helped turn it into a vehicle for a wide range of organizing beyond electoral politics, attracting Marxist-Leninist tendencies in particular. To dismiss the DSA as simply “not Communism,” as Collins does, is wrong. Members with Communist political tendencies now significantly shape the DSA’s leadership, and the organization is an increasingly attractive vehicle for bringing together a wide range of left-wing movements, many of which profess to be Communist.

Is capitalism failing these people that badly?
How do you reconcile the treasury fiat currency debt machine with a congressional majority that prioritizes self interests, including pay for favors, government intervention and bailouts into your definition of capitalism? Maybe I am missing something, but to me, what we have is a far reach from true capitalism
