The dumbest rule in all of sports. Yes I'm a casual but the fact that you can have offsides on a corner with everyone in the box is insane

Well, if it's where he gets the pass, then you would see even less scoring than you do now. Think about it.
I somewhat agree. But if you made the rule where the player is when he receives the pass it would give defenders more time to play him offsides. So probably better as it is.

I watch a lot of high school girls soccer to see my Granddaughter play and it is a whole lot better than this. They are tough, these guys are frauds. I’ve caught 20 pound flatheads that didn’t flop this much. It’s embarrassing. Im out. Not going to waste my time on it. Flop and beg is the whole game plan.

With VAR when you stomp on an ankle or leg, intentional or not….its going to be a red.

That was a harsh red. It was completely accidental. And no foul was even called on the field. If we hold on to win this game, Balogan will be suspended for the next game against Belgium, so we are pretty much screwed win or lose.
COMPLETELY agree. Flopping is embarrassing, weak, and will hold back the sport unless it is addressed. It looks absolutely horrible to fans and non fans and turns a lot of people off.
It wasn’t harsh. He stomped on the guys lower leg, intentional or not that is always going to be red with VAR. The Bosnian is lucky that leg wasn’t broken.
Ok, so why wouldn’t it only apply if you’re offsides at the time of the pass AND when the ball is received?
