Dani Carnegie is Proud to Represent her Family, Country and Self on USA 3x3 Nations League Team - USA Basketball
The U.S. has three more days of play in Chile to earn a berth into the 2026 FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup.
The first set of games she was in this week were so impressive. Obviously she can score. But her passing (which doesn't usually happen that much in 3x3) has been amazing. So quick and accurate. She's plays great defense too.
The games with her, Tori McKinney(MN), Katie Fiso (Oregon), and Nunu Agara (Maryland) have been so good. They look a lot better than the ones with Dani, Tori, Imari Berry (really talented at iso-ball but not playing as good of team ball), and some ASU player who is not as good as the others.
I cannot wait to see her on the floor with Ava! And watching Agara reminded me how much I hate that Stanford's top two seniors immigrated to our BigTen foes Maryland (Agara) and Michigan (Ogden). Both are excellent.
Ogden was a top ten recruit out of h.s. and lived up to that her first three years. She will make Michigan better than they were. But I still believe we will be even better sans any major injuries..." And Agara is strong and big; she will be a tough match up for McKenna and Journey.
