Dear ******,
Being back at Rutgers feels like coming home.
This place made me. I walked through these doors as a kid with a dream, and over four years, I was fortunate enough to earn four All-American honors and cap my career with a national championship in 2019. I share that not to boast, but because everything I am - as a competitor, coach, and person, traces back to this program, this university, and this community.
Being back in this building every day, helping develop the next generation of Scarlet Knights, is everything I hoped it would be and more. I am grateful for the opportunity, energized by the challenge, and just getting started.
My time at Princeton gave me something I carry with me every day: the belief that with the right investment, support, and accountability, young people are capable of accomplishing extraordinary things. Seeing student-athletes grow - not only as wrestlers but as men - is what drives me as a coach, and I am excited to bring those experiences into the Rutgers Wrestling room every day.
Before returning home, I spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Princeton, where we finished 20th nationally in 2026. That experience sharpened me and reinforced what I already believed: Rutgers Wrestling belongs among the nation's elite.
Not occasionally. Not every few years. Consistently.
We have the tradition, the talent, the facilities, and, most importantly, the support of one of the most passionate communities in college wrestling. My goal is simple: to help build Rutgers into a perennial national contender and a destination where the best wrestlers in the country want to compete.
Things are already moving.
This summer, Anthony Knox and Mikey Labriola will represent our program at the Ranking Series event in Budapest, while I will travel with Scarlet Knight Wrestling Club athlete Zach Elam to Tbilisi, Georgia, for a RAF match on July 11. Our athletes are competing on the world stage, and the momentum surrounding this program continues to grow.
As we continue building toward the future, I ask for your support - not just financially, but through your energy, belief, and engagement. Rutgers Wrestling has always been built by people who care deeply about this program, and when we all pull in the same direction, there is no limit to what we can accomplish together.
Thank you for welcoming me home.
This community helped shape my life, and I don't take that responsibility lightly. My door, my phone, and my inbox are always open. Whether you want to talk wrestling, share ideas, or simply reconnect, please don't hesitate to reach out. I genuinely mean that.
Thank you for believing in Rutgers Wrestling. I can't wait to see what we accomplish together.
GO RU!
