PSU released most of their schedule for the upcoming season today, so it's time to start a new thread. Please use this thread for all preseason, in-season, and post-season discussions of the PSU men's ice hockey program for the 2026-27 season.

Well, I suppose props to B1G for an “early” schedule release. At least we know which weekends are in play without actually knowing what days games will be. Only one B1G series appears to have dates locked in: final weekend. Hopefully see a nice crowd or sellout vs Q the Friday night before football vs Michigan.

Could be some nice winter roadtrips to Army, Niagara and Bob Morris.

I'm psyched about the Ice Breaker tourney at UConn which is a reasonable drive.

Great draft day for the program. It’s a shame Wiebusch transferred, but I guess a lot of guys look bound for the AHL or NHL in McKenna’s case. It looks like a few guys are still up in the air.

I don't think that there have been players who actually have earned a paycheck for an ECHL or AHL team going back to college to play college hockey. If these junior players who now largely are populating college rosters get paid, it's a very small stipend; a lot of these kids even have to stay with host families in their junior towns.
