Hardly. I'm middle aged and this **** is cringe as ****. Get a real job washouts. They have little kids playing t-ball wearing their flair. No one needs to play baseball with knight armor on.
It's harmless, family entertainment meant for kids. That being said, I could barely watch two innings before screaming to turn the channel, at the bar where it was being shown.
I think this is where my hatred comes from. I was sitting solo at a brewery today and they were playing that trash. I'm sure if my kids were older and we went in person it would be cool but my god it was awful on broadcast.

No. I've also never seen Sid the Sloth make a shot on her first attempt.
It seems like something that's really meant to be seen in person. I've watched it on TV and still enjoyed it more than a regular baseball game, but yeah, it's not compelling tv sports.
I have tickets to see a game at the rangers stadium in September. We're taking my two nephews - they're 11yo and 8yo. I think they'll get into it. We'll bring ball gloves and sing and cheer and I'm certain we'll have fun.
Ill be seeing them in STL in August. It was okay to watch on tv, all reports is it's better in person. Just a fun event for show, not dissimilar to the Globetrotters.
Not my thing but kids think it's fun. I find it hilarious that young club baseball types will watch this over watching real baseball.

The only Banana Ball rule I support is that the batter is out if a foul ball is caught by a fan.
I admit I have barely watched them, but when I first heard of them, and rules like "if a fan catches a foul ball, it's an out", I thought that was awesome.
Then recently saw of clip of grown men doing some sort of dancing skit around home plate. That jumps the shark, into cheesy territory, IMHO.
The concept had potential. They took it too far.

Watching it in kinnick with 70,000 other fans while some chucklef*ck on stilts tries to run out a single - probably fun
