Is there a pile of money somewhere in Stark that I'm not aware of? Maybe at Bully locker storage?

Cam Franklin isn't a good example. He was surrounded by far more OM influence than State. Per a teacher at LC, he was offered $500k from Tennessee and OM offered more. Not to mention his recruiting visits there would make Chris Jones'svisit pale in comparison.

I'm not sure State was offering north of $500k in 2023. Also State has very little influence in Desoto county.

At this point one would have to suspend reality completely to believe that state has any amount of NIL available for football that is competitive. The disparity between what the pork palace media mouthpieces “say” and the obviously $h!++y results is too stark to ignore. I don’t have much hope that the situation will really change for the better once lebby is $h!+canned. The primary reason we ended up with him in the first place won’t be corrected.

We kept Kelly jones we kept Isaac smith we kept fluff. We kept ant Evans. We signed Evans on the DL. We were we competitive in the portal. But that would require most of you all to do research instead of reading the pack.

Your post says it all. We have to many in this fanbase that would rather sit there and demean everything about the program it’s like you fall in line with the trolls on this board. Yeah I am here. And I do my best to present facts and call out posters who would rather be part of the problem than the solution.

The solution is 10 Billionaire State fans who give a crap about football. I’m sure there are several middle eastern State grads who are billionaires but they don’t give a rats patuty about sports.

To be fair, your constant reminders of how much capital is invested is negated by some pretty horrific coaching and admin decisions.

Not a whole lot of point in MSU signing the high school kids that immediately demand a lot of money, unless they are heavy MSU leans to begin with. and Cam Franklin wasn’t that.

Sign those guys out of the portal, or retain the others who do develop.

We are competitive in NIL. State has to be a bit more selective, but the top recruits Lebby wants, he's not losing them all over $$$$.

Lebby's lost a couple who were offered more to play at State. Go figure.

Recruits see the canoe is sinking.

You are ignorant. We were in the final 3 with the biggest OL recruit in the portal that was commanding 6 million dollars. Money was not our problem. As has been said over and over and over again to you morons that don’t follow recruiting but have huge opinions on the subject, when the money is equal you still have to recruit the same way you always have. We are very competitive financially. We have won 1 SEC game in 2 years and have a staff that is on the hot seat. Players with options are not signing up for that when they can get money matched with a better situation.
