I admittedly never watch the WNBA and know little about it, but I thought there had been plenty of white WNBA players before her who were stars and I don’t recall hearing about any problems. I had just assumed it was normal catty female behavior because of all the attention Clark had received since college. Or, I thought it was possible Clark was known for being stuck up or a b*tch or something like that which was the reason behind some of the animosity. Did Cooper Flagg get similar treatment in the NBA? I know he’s not the face of the league, but he is white and a #1 pick. Did he receive any of the reverse Jackie Robinson static?

2. I said I didn’t realize Caitlin Clark was being targeted because of her race and sexuality then reiterated my not knowing was because I don’t watch or follow the WNBA.
3. I asked if this was also occurring in the NBA because I hadn’t heard anything about race being an issue there.
