This is specifically the chamber that worthless loser has been sitting in the past 80 years:
When I was about 8 years old we (the neighborhood kids) used to run around and call each other retards. Shortly thereafter I realized what retard meant in reference to a person and I stopped using that phrase it just seemed like the right thing to do.

as for wr not mattering tell that to USC and wr lemon who basically reason they beat us or IU and phenomenal play by their wr in title game, the playoffs, and basically all year. Or how many times less talented Purdue teams beat us due to unbelievable wr play.
lastly he goes by his own experience. Well just because someone experiences something doesn’t mean it’s a fact, a trend or the norm. Maybe his was the minority cause from mine and most others who played can’t say that this was the case. But again that’s the short minded ignorant take a person makes that if they had a bad experience with something then it must be true for everyone else.

And I find it hard to believe you've never heard of lineman not caring for receivers. We have a couple in this thread that are obviously aware of lineman not caring for kickers. You don't think that can also extend receivers, especially given their personalities?

Please enlighten me if it is “quite common” who else thinks that? Or examples at Iowa since it is so common. And don’t consider wr football players. So according to you, it is quite common for lineman or linemen to not consider WRs real players but you weren't implying IOWA linemen feel that way about WRs.

I don't need to provide examples. I've told you my experience. If you want to question my experience, that's on you.
I've spent my entire life around athletics and coaches. And I can't count how many times I've heard receivers and kickers, at least jokingly, referred to as "less than".
But so I don't have to "argue" all day with others, about what my own experience has or has not been, here's one story.
Was amongst a group of people one day, and must have been telling one of my WR jokes. In the vicinity, was the father of a well-known (former) NFL QB. Later on that day, he comes up to me, unsolicited, and starts chatting me up about how his son says the craziest people in football are receivers. Says I wouldn't believe some of the stories he's heard about receivers

No I said as many of us over the years have heard from countless players, coaches, tv announcers how sometimes kickers are considered that because it’s obvious lot of them are smaller, less athletic etc. don’t be naive and act like you never heard of it.
however I’ve never heard same about wr. So I ask for examples bring your receipts and you have none minus you claim you were around when you played or coached which makes me question where the heck that was at. Which I question because especially HS in Iowa lot of wr are great athletes that play both ways especially lower levels so I’m calling bs on that. You think you are the only one who played or coached? Heck you were just called out in another thread by a poster who played OL on your bs post. and then try and act like you know a former nfl qb. That is an anomaly, but good for them. Indiana’s basketball program has taken a step back at the same time they had football fortune…it’s a topsy turvy world.

No. It is a basic question in response to a statement you made. I am calling BS on you. I have been around football in one capacity or another since I was old enough to remember. I have NEVER heard any player suggest WRs weren't actually players

Well, you've heard of it now. And, "not actually players", is a figure of speech. Meaning not considered of as a highly, or respected/trusted as much. Or simply, made fun of. As, all was also described with another figure of speech in this thread, when having said, "lesser than".
