Of course. He is held in the highest regard by all in my household.
His asking price in December will be absurd assuming he is productive like we all think he will be. And maybe still will be if he struggles if you just go off potential.

Kamario Taylor — Mississippi State
Kamario Taylor’s arm strength popped from his first throw of the night. The ball effortlessly jumped out of his hand, allowing him to access every part of the field. His passes cut through the air a little differently than the rest of the quarterbacks. At one point, emcee Cooper Manning joked that Taylor would throw a vertical route “all the way back to New Orleans.” When Taylor completed the 65-yard pass, Manning said, “Oh my goodness.” The sophomore needs to continue to develop, but at 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds with mobility and arm strength, he has a lot of upside.

I'd like to see Mullen work with KT like he did with Relf.
If only the O-line could block for more than 10 yards...
Could KT be good enough to entice Mullen to come home?
Once KT gets more live game experience and understanding what defenses are doing ..... with his dual threat ability, he could be the best we've ever had.
Can he make those throws on the run or flat on his back?
And he can do things running the ball that other players just can’t do. Questions for him are how well will he read defenses, make decisions & throw the ball accurately.
This fall, get to the games early, just so you can watch KT warm up. These scouts at the MPA are seeing the same thing that our fans could easily see pregame last year - passes look different when they come out of his hand.
We didn’t drop the passes that were 10 yards in the air & missed the receiver by 6 yards. And there were a lot of those.
Really wish we had Thompson another year to run under those bombs.
Probably my 2nd favorite 1-year transfer after Dontae Jones. He was a heck of a receiver & was all Bulldog. And represents the university well. I’d love to have him another year.

I long for the days when fear of other teams actually wanting our players was a genuine concern

I feel bad for KT - dude is all in on State and would likely do anything he could to help us win a lot of games. Problem is, there are forces beyond his control (e.g., we have no legit SEC d-lineman to stiff the run or o-lineman to pass protect and he will likely spend most of the season running for his life back there) that will leave him disappointed after this season (like the bowl game last year - you could just see that couldn’t come to terms with what was happening - that he couldn’t will our team to a win). The word that comes to mind is naive and he doesn’t see the situation for what it is.
Maybe he doesn’t have a loser’s mentality?
I agree but OLinemen play better when they really like and trust their QB. We don't have any potential high draft picks that I know of but we've all seen a team pick their game up a notch when a QB that they really want to play for comes in the game . I know this is reaching but as Yogi said about baseball "90% of this game is mental , the other half is physical" .
Don't worry, when Mullen comes back he'll bring Hevesy to coach up the O-line and recruit us a top tier SEC caliber O-line! Its going to be 2014 2.0 and we will again be on the national radar as a team to recon with all we need is Mullen and all will be right with the world. Bring him back! I know this is sarcasm but no chance Hevesy and Mullen work together again. Hevesy took his firing from Florida extremely personal even though Mullen was told he had to fire him and Grantham to keep his job. Of course Mullen got fired 2 weeks later
Arm strength is something you can’t really learn (you can improve it), but you can learn short accuracy, and if you don’t all that god given talent won’t give you many wins.
I really hope he hits his ceiling (and I really would have liked to see him under Leach).
In a forgettable season, he and Shapen (yeah, give him his flowers) created a truly magical moment vs ASU.
