Anybody heading to The Rocks this weekend

Never been to either....how so?
Just not as commercialized. Views are much better. You dont have to sit on bleachers.
Only thing about the Gorge is it is in the middle of nowhere. Hard to get to and camping is the only lodging within 30-40 minutes.
Red Rocks was great, but I felt it didnt live up to the hype. The Gorge did.

ETA: i guess they arent bleachers...whatever you want to call the rock hard steps.

Well, one of them certainly appears to qualify as one of "the boys" at "the rocks" (sheesh) but I think the other two are pretty solid chicks, or at least they were when they first appeared on the music scens

WSP was good when I was a teenager, and I've seen them at RR a few times. They definitely elevate when playing there, as do most bands. I've been to RR for everything from yoga to movies to concerts and there's nothing bad to do there.

Of all the shows I've seen there, Florence & the Machine was one of my favorite standouts. That banshee can wail.
