If you go one thread up, you can read all about it. You can even see some try to defend her. She was just using Clark's throat to help get back on her feet, not intentional, etc...
Yea just like those tater players a few year back that was sticking their finger up in the opposing players a$$ to get off the ground, real sporty.

If you knew Thomas' history, you would have an argument for more than one game. As I said on the other thread, she is viewed as a physical or a dirty player depending on who you ask. However, suspended for the season? SMH. You are in your feelings a little bit. A multi-game suspension could be considered if you view her as a repeat offender, but that particular play is a flagrant 2 which would have warranted an ejection in that game if the refs had caught it. The refs missed it. So, she got hit with the suspension for the next game. She served her suspension yesterday. Her team won without her. Life goes on.
The WNBA is being run by idiots. Many women are too emotional to make sound business decisions. The league salaries have increased 300% since Clark joined the league. They went from flying commercial to flying on private jets.
That said, most women in the WNBA despise Clark. It has to be out of pure jealousy.
Arnold Palmer got the PGA Tour on TV and the purses went up significantly. All the players loved him for it. The tour marketed Palmer big time.
Michael Jordan was the face of the NBA big time. The league marketed the crap out of him and everyone prospered because of it.
WNBA players are just a bunch of stupid emotional women that would cut their own nose off to spite their face.

So, what would you propose that the women do? Get out of the way and just have a lay-up line? I am sure the players are grateful. However, that doesn't mean that they are not going to compete. The NBA didn't stop the Pistons from knocking Jordan around just because he was the face. I am sure the other players are like players in any other league where they are not the face. They are going to be eager to play her and they are going to compete. You are going to have some confrontation in competition. Caitlin did push Thomas in the back in the first game of their back-to-back and had been going back and forth with Thomas' wife, DeWanna Bonner. Thomas just got caught using the scrum on the floor as a quick little get back. That's all it was. People going on about the WNBA Administration and other players who had nothing to do with this is unfair.
Her last name is Hostin. I've watched several of the Indiana Fever Games. Although Clark is unfairly targeted by Refs and opposing players she does bring some of that on herself. She foul baits and constantly whining about calls.
Jealousy and rage would be how I would describe several of the women in the WNBA, not all however. You would think that someone that benefits you financially you could control your emotions and stay sane.
