2026 OUTLOOK: "I feel confident in our group and what we have been able to put together so far. I got here in January and began teaching them football-related things in my fourth block class for those that were in it. We had a successful spring, averaging 24 players, while sharing with other spring sports. I believe we will have around 30-35 players for year one of the program. I am very excited about the future of football at NECP."

2026 OUTLOOK: “We return four starting offensive linemen along with our starting quarterback, which gives us valuable experience and continuity on offense. We’re also bringing back our leading wide receiver, who led the 1A classification in both receiving yards and receiving touchdowns last season. Our players have attacked the weight room this offseason, and we’ve seen major growth in strength, leadership, and overall confidence across the roster. With the experience we have returning and the work our players have put in during the offseason, we’re excited about the direction our program is heading into the season.”

SENIORS: JACKSON BODENHAMER (WR/LB, 6-1, 195) - HSOT Honorable Mention All-State Two-Way. All-Region. All-Conference. He caught 62 passes for 633 yards with 9 touchdowns. On defense, he had 45 tackles, 17 TFLS, and 8 sacks. WYATT COLLINS (OL/DL, 6’2, 295) All-Conference. He led the team with 79 tackles, 11 TFLS, 3 Sacks.

JUNIOR: HOLDEN SHELTON (QB/DB, 6'0 170). He completed 115 of 145 passes for 1,048 yards with 7 TD’s and ran for another one. “In 3 Varsity starts last year Holden completed 79% of his passes.”

SOPHOMORE: NATE HARRISON (TE/LB, 6'1 200). Prep Redzone All State Freshman Team (TE). He made 40 Tackles.

JUNIORS: BENTON GIBBY (RB/LB, 5-8, 150) - All-Conference. He ran for 439 yards with 4 touchdowns and caught 10 passes for 96 yards with a touchdown. On defense, he had 84 tackles and 2 interceptions. CAMERON ALLISON (ATH, 5-11, 175) - He ran for 250 yards with 2 touchdowns and caught 21 passes for 396 yards with 4 touchdowns. XAM WACHACHA (WR/QB.DB, 5-7, 160) - He had 43 tackles and 4 interceptions. ELI LAMBERT (WR/DB, 5-9, 160) - He had 8 receptions for 198 yards with 3 touchdowns. ELIJAH KIRKLAND (RB/LB, 5-10, 170) - He ran for 232 yards with 2 touchdowns. On defense, he had 36 tackles and an interception. 2026 OUTLOOK: “We are hoping to continue the success we had last season. We lost some really great seniors. We have a good mix of older and younger guys coming back this season. Our guys coming back got great experience last year in the playoffs and we hope we can build off of that. Our team will be young in spots and will be tested early on to see what they can handle. If our older guys can lead the young guys and we stay injury free. We feel we can be competitive again this year.“
