My full recap from Friday's action in Newark:

Lee, Leydecker make World Team - lead Iowa wrestlers at Final X - On3

In Spencer Lee and Everest Leydecker, Iowa wrestling will now have representation on the men's and women's World/Olympic Team(s) for the third consecutive year.

Meanwhile, Austin DeSanto and Reese Larramendy have made the first Senior National Team of their careers - the latter with the added bonus of a U23 World Team spot this October.

Buchanan had technically already made the Senior National Team by virtue of wrestling for the World Team Spot - thus his omission.

But yes, he has also made his first team - and Blades/Welker/Woods have made it as well, regardless of their Final X series outcome(s) later this summer.

He was so much fun to watch. If you happened to blink when he went for a single leg attack, you likely missed it, he was lightening fast.
