If I had the first pick, I'd take AJ #1 like this mock. I think he has the highest "floor" (even more so than Boozer) and along with Peterson the highest ceiling too.

Like Acuff to the Nets at 6.

Knicks taking Evans as a SG off the bench makes some sense with what they may lose in FA and can use from a shooting and floor spacing standpoint. But I think it would be really fun for the Knicks to take Zuby with either 24 or 31, assuming they don't deal those picks.

Maybe the headline writer should read the actual article. He has boozer going 3.

can’t see anyone in top 4 moving out. I could see the nets moving back out of the 6 spot. They don’t seem to be in love with one guy.

So BE gets 3 in the first round, all the latter part. Zuby, Reed and Karaban. Happy for all those guys. And seniors to boot!!

Before last year, who had Zuby on their bingo card as being the first BE player taken in the draft. Crazy.

The draft was an advertisement and huge recruiting win for UCONN and Dan Hurley. Teams love how the players developed and grew their game at UCONN. They want WINNING CULTURE. Spurs GM and others mentioned this specifically.
UCONN will keep getting great players.

UCONN has had numerous players drafted over the past few years under Hurley, including lottery picks and first rounders taken ahead of their two first rounders this year. So not sure how yesterday somehow moved the needle. They are a great program and have been now for 30+ years.

You are of course correct. This draft didn't necessarily move the needle but shows how player development and winning is important to the NBA. Prospective recruits will just continue to see this and will be drawn to go there.
