He and his family were eating breakfast locally. Very personable guy. Gave him a welcoming comment in passing. About 20 minutes later he and his family had finished eating and he walked back over to my table and asked my name, shook my hand and said he appreciated the kind words.

Pretty sure the OP's last avatar was a picture of him in a blue banana hammock. Hard to unsee.
How do you all remember this stuff? Like some of you guys remember when (insert poster) posted something in 2006.

I don't try to, I just remember stuff when I see it in writing. Partial photographic memory, I guess. I used to take a ton of notes in school so I could visualize them on the paper I wrote it on when a test came around.

I can see that, it’s just crazy to me. I can’t remember stuff from a week ago most times. Random stuff.

When UK hires an AD or coach it’s just a matter of time before Rafters starts to bash. Clock has started on J.

I get it. Some of the other docs in my clinic make fun of me because of my remembering random things…primarily social security numbers.

We use them to open patient records, and I sometimes remember the number from a patient I saw weeks or months ago.

But then, I walk from my living room to the kitchen, and I can’t remember what I went to do 😂

I've been known to put liquid egg in the cupboard, etc. lol.

Rafters at large upon new AD arrival: "Welcome to the greatest AD on Earth!"

Rafters at large after first loss by Wildcats men's basketball: "FAAARRR this SOB, Pope and Mitch immediately if not sooner. No worries about Football. It's not a sport, anyway."

True story.
