As we near the 250th anniversary of our failed relationship with England, do they fit the crazy ex category? What is going on with their leadership? Like six prime ministers in the past seven years. We can’t get these people to leave office over here. They change the like underwear lately.

BTW, down for a good crazy ex story if you care to tell it.

Well, they brought in a bunch of people to live in their house that want to tear it down and make England not speak English.

If I describe England like a crazy ex, pretty sure this thread will get locked.

Now....I will have to figure if I can think of a good crazy ex wife story.

I can add, we do have an crazy ex-employee story that we started this year with and added more to it just 2 short weeks ago.

But let's get on with the England bashing first.

Been married to wife #2 for over 30 years. Last that I heard wife #1 was on husband #8. That’s not counting the relationships that never made it down the aisle. Husband #2 and #4, same guy by the way, and I ended up on a hunting trip together years later and actually became pretty good friends. We called ourselves ex husband in-laws. We could relate to soldiers who had shared a foxhole in battle together !

This has been an awhile ago. I had a young employee that was working late one day for some reason or another. I decided to stay with him and lock up because I had some stuff to catch up on anyway. We both leave together and lock all the doors and the entry gate. He decided to stop at McDonald’s and I headed straight home. We both lived in the same community about ten miles away. He was behind me by a couple of minutes tops and comes upon a bad wreck. Two women, one being my ex, had straightened out a curve and flipped a car 7-8 times down a steep embankment. He takes off his shirt and hold pressure on my ex to slow the bleeding until EMTs arrive. The other woman was severely hurt and unconscious. They either wrecked behind me or I missed the accident which is entirely possible, either way God was looking out for me. What would you do if you found your ex near death and bleeding out along a lightly traveled road?

I left a crazy over 20 years ago and up until about 5 years ago she'd send me a Christmas card each year that had a photo of her in a bikini somewhere on it. -- her body was TREMENDOUS.
My wife thought it was funny.... but she always made sure the card got thrown away by January 2.
Otherwise, I'd be sharing them with you now.

Her OF link?
so I know to avoid it.

I'd rather hear the crazy ex-employee story.

In 1981 my fiancé (technically an x)
Went to Panama City on a girl’s trip.
She met a guy named Tom Lester (Eb the hired hand on green acres) boinked him and came home and broke up with me and said she was moving to Hollywood.
Last I heard of her was she is in a assisted living facility in Corinth Ms

I dated a few crazy people back in the day, but the craziest was a girl I dated right before I met my wife.

We had been seeing each other for about six months when I found out she had gone to see her ex one night. I was 25 and she was 23. I was already mad about that, but then I learned her ex was 44 years old. She had met him when he was co-teaching her Bible study class with his wife. Not his ex-wife, his actual wife.

Somehow, when everything came out, the church took his side and his wife was the one who ended up leaving, even though he was the guy running around with 20-year-olds.

At that point, I told her I needed some space. She responded by stalking me. Eventually, I had to be blunt and tell her, "Leave me alone. It's over."

Fast forward two years. I'm engaged to the woman who is now my wife. My ex runs into my parents at a restaurant and walks over to tell them that I keep calling her, begging for her back, and crying because I'm not marrying her. My dad called me furious. Then he realized she was lying because, according to him, the crying part was completely out of character.

Fast forward again. About three years ago, I became good friends with a guy after we discovered we had both dated her. When he got married, she actually called his mother multiple times claiming that God was worried about him because he had married a "devil woman."

I see Tom Lester was born in Jones county, went to ole miss, and dabbled in evangelism. She REALLY wasn't making good choices.

I come from a long land of strong-willed crazy women and somehow married one. I think that is because that is all I knew. I will tell my son one day, that every woman is crazy, just find one that is loyal and hold on because every woman you meet is a crazy ride (some rides are just a little funnier than others).

A perfect example of how those "Bible" leaders will 17 a gal up.

But it's just how they roll when they've heard the calling.

Your ex gave you up for a guy from South MS whose claim to fame is acting in a show with a pig as his best friend?

Just kidding, Eb was actually a good guy that loved to hunt and fish and was a very religious guy. He toured with Billy Graham a lot.

Wiki says he only married once and that wasn't until 2007 so he must have dumped your ex, unless her name was Kaylie and he married her 26 years after they met. He died of Parkinsons in 2020

Interesting history.

I was curious who Promethean Action is; it's nice to see the Larouchies are still active. I thought we'd lost 'em after all these years.

Not me but a buddy of mine was cracking some married girl who he worked with. Her husband worked second shift so when he would go over to her house , tap it and leave before the husband got home. The husband had gotten suspicious and one afternoon he was getting busy and he hears click click and something cold sticking between his butt cheeks. He said his whole life passed before his eyes. He finally gets the nerve to look back only to see her little dog sniffing his ***. The click click was its toenail on the tile floor as it prepared to jump on the bed. He learned his lesson.

Different system. Much more fluid with shifting politics. It's more like Speaker of the House here with the addition that that person is also head of government. We have also had 4 Speakers of the House in the last 7 years: Ryan, Pelosi, McCarthy, Johnson. And we just might have a 5th next year.

Wonder how long it'll be until they undo brexit and come to the EU with their hat in their hand? What a silly tantrum that has been.
