Supposedly had been in the works for a couple of weeks
I’m not sure if you’re serious.
So Calipari and Michigan knew for a couple weeks that May was leaving. I would think something would have leaked.Supposedly had been in the works for a couple of weeks
I kinda like the idea. Cal at Michigan makes more sense to me than Cal at Arkansas.Supposedly had been in the works for a couple of weeks
Yes Michigan was very interested after he left the Celtics.Didn’t Pitino consider Michigan before landing at Louisville?
Michigan will never WANT Calipari.Lmao 0 truth to any of this. Michigan has never and will never get Calipari. This was not in the making for a “few weeks.” Michigan was caught off guard and didn’t know May was going to jump ship. No one did.
May had the contract extension on his desk for 2 weeks but didn't sign it.So Calipari and Michigan knew for a couple weeks that May was leaving. I would think something would have leaked.
Cal at a classy U of higher Ed like UM is hysterical.
Cal found the one school out there perfect for him.
Not happening they made a hire ,and he is staying for at least one year,to retain players,so this is not happeningSupposedly had been in the works for a couple of weeks
It was posted on X last night that Michigan is going to be hit with some serious violations and very likely vacated wins, at minimum and was the primary reason Dusty left.
YupDidn't Michigan already promote Mike Bouton to interim coach?
I totally agree with you, but just to play devil's advocate, Michigan's AD is dumb enough to do something like this. So, this has been in the works for a couple weeks, but Michigan went ahead and PROMOTED MIKE BOYNTON TO INTERIM HEAD COACH YESTERDAY only -- under this scenario -- to revoke that status and announce Calipari as part of an elaborate deception that has no purpose because they already know Calipari is the new coach...
I miss the days when goofy conspiracy theories that only the truly gullible embraced at least had a thin veneer of logic.
He and Pitino are both attempting to become the only coach in history with a Final Four at four different programs.More likely that Cal retires than going to Michigan imo.
Their bar is just high enough for Cal - perfect fit. They had some nice runs in the 90s, the MusBus got them to a couple of S16's, no? Mus was actually recruiting at a high level, the coaching another story. There's really no better school for him out there.he’s at a place where a sweet 16 is one of the top 15 or so seasons in program history and the fanbase has literally never experienced top ranked recruiting. He’d be expected to win big at Michigan, which isn’t happening for Cal any more.
I wish he’d go there just so we could stop talking about him here.I kinda like the idea. Cal at Michigan makes more sense to me than Cal at Arkansas.
