the main board and almost every other board actually enjoy Al and many of them understand his bit of humor that many of our own posters do not. Many of you do not understand there is a big part of Al that is actually very funny and he runs with the personality he created.

We have different senses of humor. I find the posts repetitive and boring.
Aren’t all fan boards low IQ boards? That’s what makes them fun…drama, unnecessary ********, lies, rumors, innuendo, exaggerations and other assorted BS?
Seems just the opposite. Many with higher IQ's and self-worth, either find the time to laugh or just don't feel the need to change our day one way or another. And we certainly are not starting threads with the sole purpose other than try to make fun of another person.
Posting a video singing to a recruit and subsequently getting chastised by the school has done more to embarrass him than anything anyone could say here.
Wasn't that like a decade ago- now, just a funny footnote and even Al can make fun of himself on that one.

Maybe Al should stop posting requests for us to donate enough for RU to build a field-house better than anyone ever seen and start posting videos on this board with him singing how great Rutgers Football would be if we donated towards building the best of the best field-house for the RU FB program to use.

Ironically this thread is giving him additional attention. And for those in this thread lecturing us about the comedic value of his posts, sorry there is none. Anyone who has a sense of humor beyond that of a looping/teasing fourth grader clearly sees that.
If people are laughing (don’t think they are). They are not laughing with but rather at. There’s a difference.
Never saw his posts (especially the earlier ones) with the intention of being comedic. The intention was to be the authority rather than the comedian.
Maybe there should be a poll for the board spammer, between football and basketball boards dumping 10 or more threads per day, 90% of which get no response. What is the point of all these threads if nobody responds?

Al has gone off the rails with the fieldhouse and NIL but his over-the-top Rutgers statements, while he wanted to believe them, were in some ways just great comic postings at himself and the reputation he was well aware of and he continued to play upon that almost brilliantly.
If you say so. Not sure many people or Al (at least initially) thought of it as comedy.
actually- Al and I laughed about this. There really are times that laughing at oneself is great. and he plays into that. And hate to tell you - there really have been a lot of people on the mainboard and other team sites that enjoy him, and not in a mocking way.
Oh I agree with you. Being able to laugh at yourself is a wonderful trait. All I’m saying is that was never the intent. It may have grown into that. And main board enjoys it because they see him as the delusional Rutgers fan. And deal with him once a year on “ message board genius”.
