I have gotten into my online banking. It looks pretty good. All my money got transferred over. Main thing! They do deposit your direct deposit two to three days early for free. I guess that pretty good. I have not activated my new debit card. We will see how it goes.

I thought the debit cards couldn't be activated until Tuesday and the checking accounts weren't accessible until tomorrow but what do I know.

I never got the prompt to set up my user name early like most. Tried to log in today and it told me to call in to verify my identity. I hung up after 30 minutes on hold so I still can’t get access to my account

I’d be moving to another bank based on all that I’ve seen regarding this change. Banks typically run off deposits with interest rates but I suppose gross incompetence is another approach…

Update: Got logged in this morning with no issues. Activated cards from the website. All of my accounts were there. My bill pay payees pulled over from Cadence so I don't have to set all of those up again which is huge. Website is pretty similar to the layout of Bancorp/Cadence so it didn't take long at all to find everything.

BIG DIFFERENCE IN BILL PAY

They give you a notice when you're logging in, but just in case anybody missed the significance of it, all of your scheduled bill payments are probably scheduled to be paid late now. Bancorpsouth let you put the date you wanted the payment to be there as the date of payment. Huntington brought those dates over, but that is not the day the payment will get there, that is the date payment will be sent, which could be a couple of days to five days before it is actually received. I typically put my date to be received a day or two before the due date, and now I have several payments scheduled to be received after the due date. Luckily none of mine were scheduled for immediately after the transition so all of mine have time to be fixed.

My list of things to ***** about so far:
The user interface sucks. I can't name my accounts? So I have to know account numbers to know whether I am looking at my businhess or personal balance, and which child's account is which? And I can't change the order they appear? So the first account that shows up is a business account that I didn't even have tied to my personal internet banking before?

In their Bill Pay Section, I can't group my bills? So I have everybody I've ever sent a payment to listed, and my choices are for them to not appear at all, or to have to pick my way through the list instead of having the people I pay monthly at the top? That seems like a really basic feature. It was also nice that Cadence showed your next scheduled payment to each biller, or if there is no scheduled payment, your last payment, so combined with being able to group your regular payees together, it was pretty easy to check in a glance to make sure there aren't any payments you had forgotten to schedule. That doesn't seem like something that should obviously be done, so I get them not having that, but not being able to organize your billers seems ridiculous.

Is this really their fully functioning website? Oddly enough, internet banking, bill pay, and direct deposit are the main products I look for in a bank. So I'm definitely a ****** customer for banks as I don't borrow much and if I do, I shop around. But Huntington seem to suck on the things I care about so far.

All I see is a mortgage. None of the other accounts are there. Been on the phone about 30 minutes. Haven't spoken to anyone yet.

Was able to log in my personal account. First thing I noticed when I logged in as I could see all 3 accounts. Then I noticed my business account balance was off. Didn’t recognize any transactions. Finally figured out it’s my dad’s account they somehow linked with my accounts.

That sucks. Regions lets you enter the due date and they magically manage the backend to ensure it gets there on time, or at least on time enough that I've never had a creditor tell me I was late...

You can name the accounts, all of them, deposit and loans alike.
Hover over profile and then click account nicknames.
or
Click on the account in online banking. Then on the right side click account numbers and more. Then click edit nickname. Took maybe 2 min to do this for all 12 of my different accounts and loans.

Update on my situation. My wife and i have had a joint account from the beginning with BancorpSouth. Seems like these folks require that we have separate profiles. Therefore I had to enroll again with my card info. They both link to the same accounts but that means I have to sign into two different profiles to manage my cards.

We'll see what we decide.

Gracias. That seems unnecessarily unintuitive, but at least you can do it. Or at least I could do it if their website was working. Guess all the Cadence customers logging in this morning are overloading it, or maybe it's just related to how it is interacting with some of the Cadence info if they aren't fully integrated.

I believe the platform came back online about 15 min ago. My app and browser login are both working now. It was down for about half an hour though.

Also. They’re ordered alpha numerically when you nickname them. So just list your most used accounts starting the nicknames with 1, 2, 3 etc. then log out and back in.

Well ****. Finally found a time that the website works and tried the first option you provided, and after saving, that nickname doesn't show up anywhere except when you go to profile and click on account nicknames.

So I went to the second option, and edited the nickname there. Now the nickname shows there, and still if you click on profile, but it doesn't show up when I'm actually looking at all my accounts. Don't know if that's a general glitch on their side or if their website doesn't work well with Chrome.

ETA: And what is up with only allowing six characters for the nickname. Even if it would show the nickname at "the HUB", I would still have to remember a short hand rather than just having a name and description.

ETA2: Well now it let me rename the longer nick name and that is showing up, although it's not reordering in alphanumeric order even after signing out and signing back in. But progress I guess.

Just call the # on the card to activate. I ran into the same issue and it took 2 mins to call to activate my wife’s. No other login needed.

When I logged In this morning I was missing accounts and dreading the crap show at the bank to fix it. Surprisingly the call center rep could handle all my requests instead of having to visit the branch. I was pleased.
