I don’t disagree with that there probably some that are over inflating their experience but it’s pretty easy to see that the vast majority are having a blast.

Yeah, I get tired of everything being “the best, funniest, most epic thing on the internet today”, but trying to find ways to paint all this WC goodness as BS is…BS.

I struggle to understand the full story of how our largest news sources have become so openly unpatriotic. It’s a problem.
Well, in order to get the public behind radical or even goal post moving changes you have to make the case that things are so bad they need to be changed. It's classic politics used by everyone in industry, sports, politics of course, etc. It's hard to be patriotic about your country when you think everything is going to h3!! In a hand basket.

The scary and different thing here is that it's our largest news sources. That's what has created Fox News ( they do it too) and it's also what has eliminated half the country trusting our largest news sources or as some have weaponized the term main stream media. We need a neutral free press but I'm afraid that ship has sailed. Next up is extremism on both sides making large inroads into mainstream politics. Democracy indeed dies in darkness but it also withers away with one sided propaganda. Pick your poison.

Freddy needs to visit Florabama. He can easily blend in with all of the other attention whores.
Dude has legit said he does not want to be an influencer and is closing the account post-world cup. Seems like a genuinely good guy who just stumbled into some unexpected notoriety. Terrible take.

Well, good on Freddy for enjoying the ride and for shutting it down once he gets back to Germany. I think a lot of people would try to make some sort of career out of all the notoriety he's gained.
I wouldn't blame him if he decided to parlay it into something that makes money so long as it was organic, as it appears to be so far.

If he's going to shut it down be on the lookout for a lot of copycat accounts popping up, people too lazy to do their own thing so they will try and capitalize on his

Yeah, it's a terrible take. Guy has no qualms about being an attention ***** in 2026 on the socials thus far (well, until his boyz were bounced). He was star-struck and vomited to everyone to show where he stood on the leader board . . . frequently. Your next post proved my point.

I'm sorry this is happening to you.
