Her body composition change is amazing which should lead to less injuries and more agility, power and speed. She’s certainly putting in the work.Blanca looks like she is working hard. I know she can do it. Go Heels!
What was the reason for rejecting the term? Did they poll all the female athletes to arrive at that decision?UNC has officially and emphatically rejected the modifier “Lady” from all UNC athletics. You can’t put it in UNC publications, media or on merchandise. it is also requested that all athletes are called Tar Heels, full stop, in the media standards guide given out to all outside reporters and authors.
our teams don’t want the term lady and I try to honor that in my own speech. I think that is basic courtesy to call people what they want to be called.
Of course, that is a personal decision. there are no rules on this board that reject that term specifically.
You can use women and I’ll continue to use women or ladies just as I use men or fellas. It’s a post on a message board with no negative implications intended, in fact the post is applauding their efforts so take it however you choose.Women not "ladies"
Ciera, Reniya, Blanca and several others putting in work. The body composition changes are quite noticeable.
You can also see her transformation in the 2nd video in the hand-eye coordination exercise. She is in the same picture behind CT. When you look at it, you can clearly see that she has slimmed down tremendously and waiting to lift weights.
