I don't agree. I think the chances are very high one of those two guy ends up here IF Pope doesn't work out.
As far as betting $50, I won't do that (religious reasons) but I will do an avatar wager on it. If Pope ever gets canned (hopefully he won't) let me know and we can work out the details on it.
That sounds fun. How about this. If within the next 5 years Billy D or Oats become our coach, I'll change my avatar to whatever you want for a year. Except for anything ul. I refuse to do that.

Heck, Hello Kitty was a punishment for an avatar bet. I lost so bad on two bets and had the avatar so long that people thought I was a Hello Kitty fan. So yeah, I have no problem wearing my idiocy in public if I earned it lol
There have been many coaches who have not won big in their first two years on a job that went on to do great things. I don't know if Pope is that guy or not, but unlike some, I am not going to stick my head in the sand and pretend he didn't face multiple key injuries year one and two, and acknowledge that his recruiting has obviously taken a turn for the better. If this team can't go out and have a successful season then there won't be any excuses for him, but I suspect he is going to have a great season and bring in a monster class for next year

Are this obtuse or just arguing for the sake of it. With no evidence, none of them are reliable. Dylan just guessing there. Says his camp wants a minutes restriction but yet might go to Michigan to start and not Kentucky to be a piece. Also don’t want to go to Gonzaga even though they see him as a low minute guy year 1. Dude does decent work but he spews some BS a lot too.
Pope had a dysfunctional group last year, it seemed to me he was trying different things to get them to click but there was no way to fix that chemistry issue. Despite OO and DA being the best players, they definitely didn’t elevate anyone around them.
That team was a mess to begin with. What players could they elevate? Mo jacking 3’s? Moreno being soft and out of shape? Chandler doing anything but shoot 3’s?
We’ll never know because they weren’t capable of it.

I don't know if Dylan has legit sources or not, but at least on Gonzaga you're missing where he said that they don't want to PAY for a low minute guy. It's Gonzaga dipping out, not Kusturica.

He said they don’t want to pay more than 3 million but Michigan offer is 3.5-4.5. So lot of contradictory info. But that’s what he does.

There's nothing contradictory in that. Gonzaga doesn't want to pay even $3M for a 15mpg guy while other schools are offering more than that, so Gonzaga is out. The ONE contradiction is him wanting a minutes restriction and Michigan wanting him to start or play a key reserve role. And that's not exactly something difficult to grasp - it would be something that's part of the negotiations.
It’s tough for you so you got it. His rambling never makes sense and he deletes things that he ends up wrong on. I respect his hustle though. He’s made a name for himself with making up stuff and getting some right with good guesses.

Not that I don’t want it to work, all of us do especially guys around our era. That’s what so many seem to fall stupid to. Of course we want it. A former UK champ running things, protecting the program, bringing Pitino swag? wtf doesn’t want that?
Mark has surprised me a tad lately, but I still believe there’s no way he can put this together. Mark doesn’t even understand what he’s doing it seems to me, he’s throwing a lot at it without a defined plan. He’s surviving. That’s not gonna work for what we need, stability and consistency to blue blood standards.
The goal here is simple. Win, win big, fix problems quickly. If he can do that he can stay. If he can’t, he’s not getting 5 years of suck and average to figure it out. We don’t have time for that.
Since we have no choice, let’s see. But with this new AD, I don’t think he’s going to sit around and hold hands. He wants to be here a long time, and success in basketball early is the blueprint. Calipari showed that.
