Some of the players made a decision that maybe I wouldn't have. I'm not sure it's my place to say what uniform the York, PA minor league baseball club wears.

It's definitely not my place to suggest what the York, PA minor league team should wear. But I support the players' right to not be compelled to wear something representative of an ideology that's counter to their own values.

I'd say the same thing if they were boycotting because they refused to wear uniforms that had bible verses.

The desire for some people to publicly display their moral convictions, even those I support, and demand others comply or get called bigots is absurd. I'm no fan of blasphemy laws, whether secular or religious.

Another thing that's so 17ing stupid. Why mandate the whole team do this stuff? If you feel strongly about it, maybe make a few pieces of the uniform available with pride stuff FOR PLAYERS THAT CHOOSE TO DO SO. Like a sweatband or something, similar to all that yellow shlt Acuna and them wear. Like all that stupid looking crap the Georgia guys were wearing. This way, nobody gets judged.

I suspect though, there's probably plenty of folks out there that WANT people to be judged.

I’m not a proponent of compelled speech whether it’s wearing a pride uniform, making art (a cake) you don’t want to, or standing with hand over heart for the national anthem, so I’m good with it. I do wonder why they just didn’t play the game in the regular uniforms.

I was at that Giants Pride Night game last Friday. I didn't know about writing on the hats until I read about it the next day, but the night's festivities were entertaining to say the least. This one person went to deliver the game ball to the rubber on the mound wearing these heelless platform stilletos that looked similar to this below, and I was fearful for that person's safety trying to walk up the mound in those.

Not a lot of people know this, but Bob Gibson generated the velocity on his legendary fastball buy wearing cleats based on these shoes.

Normally wear at home or on the road.
Now, with that wholehearted statement made, I do like some of the camo or American flag incorporated into the logo/uniform occasionally.
But if that has to go away to make the pride bs go away then so be it I guess.
I don’t care if someone is gay/bi/lesbo, I don’t give a $#|t but don’t push your bs agenda and beliefs down my throat and then pitch a ***** fit if I don’t agree.

We wear the pink stuff for breast cancer. That’s not uniform. Heck if you are pro-pride and want people to know it, show it. Seems a reasonable compromise for everyone.

The only thing that it makes me think is for many reasons just have home and aways and wear them exclusively and don't do special occasion uniforms, blackout, whatever. Get off my lawn.
