So, you cannot taste the potato. Butter, S&P is all you need for proper potatoes. Otherwise, you're simply covering up the potato.
All of the above if I’m feeling fancy. But most times I just enjoy the simplicity of butter, sour cream, and fresh-cracked black pepper.
