Agree that the title is not worth it.
Haven't stopped watching yet though. Watched less, maybe. But haven't stopped.
I went from having season tickets for about 10 years to giving those up.
Then I went from arranging my Saturday schedule to make sure I was watching us play- or if I was driving, to make sure I could tune in the game on the radio.
Now, I rarely will watch a Carolina game- I didn't even watch the Clemson game last year. Oddly enough, my wife did watch some of it while I was running errands. I wasn't even listening on the radio. I didn't see even one second of it. Did catch some highlights on the local news that day.
I now will even forget what time our games are at least 3-4 times a season until the day of the game. It use to bug me when I was not watching or listening to the game. Sometimes I forget the game is even on.
I will never forget last year - one of my coworkers (he's not South Carolina fan) was texting me during the Texas A & M game when we went up on them in the first half - and I had forgot the game was even being played. Totally slipped my mind- and no- I didn't turn it on or listen to it on the radio. I also was not surprised we blew a lead or lost. That told me (and my wife) that college football simply wasn't a thing for me anymore.
That took me a number of years to get to that point though, but I am actually proud of it because I don't like being tied to the tv or radio - or have anything in my life that dominates it like that.
