Would be a huge talent addition.

From this link, my statistical takeaways:

Not the best 3 point shooter. Insane rebounding production from a wing which could be big for this roster. Also seems like a high stocks(particularly steals) guy.

I gotta admit, I'm a little disappointed that Kusturica is from Serbia.

It would be a whole lot cooler if Kusturica was from Costa Rica.

Is Pope about to pull off the greatest 180 off all time? That man was dead in the water less than a month ago and, assuming this becomes official, now gets three big time recruits in two weeks? Just wow.
How many times did I say to be patient with him? I pointed out dozens of times that it took Hurley, Golden, and Donovan a few years to get things going at UConn and Florida.

No one here wanted to listen to me. Pope is extremely intelligent. He’s going to figure it out.

Would be a great get and put us into a higher ranking for this season, but, he still has coaching tactics to change, particularly his substitution patterns.
Good players need to get into a rhythm, pulling them out because he thinks they're fatigued, needs to stop.
I really like the team he is assembling, so hopefully he manages the talent better than he did last year.

I'm guessing that if he does choose UK that he won't be here probably until August because he has a big tournament coming up in July which may last a month. And by that time his eligibility should be either ruled in or out. I am also assuming that he has graduated high school and that his transcript will transfer

Can Pope manage the roster without players being upset with playing time?
IMO, Z. Hawthorne, Noah, Mason Williams, Morton, and Potter should only be available as "Break In Case Of Emergency" players. That leaves room for 10 players to be starter and backup. I think that's much more manageable than looking at the roster as a full 15-man set.

Most of the guys in that 10 are going to be able to play 2-4, with some guys like Uzi maybe able to step into the 5. I think there's gonna be a ton of tinkering and switching out between Zoom/Wilkins and Moreno/Franck.

You will see Mason Williams play a decent amount this year and I think it will be a good thing.

Losing Stokes is probably the best thing that could have happened to us
If he lands this kid he gets mad props from me. I have no idea what has changed outside the staff changes but he has impressed me after the awful start to the portal season. He has been red hot. I hope he continues this streak and has a healthy great year. I’d love to see him crush this year and see what happens.

Apparently optimism is frowned upon by some on this board. Please show some restraint and some grace for goodness sake.

I will be surprised if Morton is not a regular contributor and think Mason may also be in that conversation.

Morton, Potter. Noah, Zyon and even Mason Williams are not regular contributors on a title team. That's why nobody had Kentucky having a chance at winning it all.
I think Morton can give some decent minutes off the bench. The other I agree on, not yet are they probably ready. I am curious to see how effective Potter could be. He has a skill set that works in the modern game.

Seeing people say he would be a starter...is that accurate? That would be great if he's that big of an impact, but he's pretty young. Just curious what type of impact he can make.
I may be missing someting here but I just dont see that YET. He looks like a talented but still young player who needs some strength to compete just like Hawthorne. I see Ousman and Hawthorn both a little ahead of him at this point, but love is upside once he gets older and stronger. He's a good prospect but from the film I didnt see a #1 Euro prospect kind of thing. And I'm usually a sunshine pumper type.
