6-2 for teams not named UGA. Just a bad luck draw for us in the supers.
How is that not 6-8 then?6-2 for teams not named UGA. Just a bad luck draw for us in the supers.
Ah yes, I forgot to add the SR games vs UGA. Corrected.Check your math.
You mean an on purpose draw. Most matchups are set up for the storyline. Ours was having to beat the team that had our number in the regular season to get to the CWS.6-2 for teams not named UGA. Just a bad luck draw for us in the supers.
There was no effort to match up SEC teams. Just luck of the draw. There were only 3 non-SEC top 8 seeds for us and A&M regionals to match up with. They got North Carolina, we got Georgia. Same with the CWS, 4 SEC teams in one bracket was not the way it was drawn up. It was drawn up to get Auburn & Florida in one bracket and Georgia, Texas & Bama in the other. You mean an on purpose draw. Most matchups are set up for the storyline. Ours was having to beat the team that had our number in the regular season to get to the CWS.
Or 2-8 vs CWS teams not named Ole MissAh yes, I forgot to add the SR games vs UGA. Corrected.
4-0 Ole Miss
0-6 UGA
1-2 Texas
1-0 Troy
So, 6-8 vs CWS teams, still 6-2 vs those not named UGA.
Or 1-8 vs. teams in the CWS that were actually there to win it, and 5-0 against the CWS imposters.Or 2-8 vs CWS teams not named Ole Miss
Especially when every 17’n game was competitive to the very end. It just wasn’t our year when it came to Georgia.the odds of a college baseball team losing 6 out 6 games in 1 season to the same team is something like 1.6%![]()
Our games vs UGA were nothing like OM's games vs us. We could very easily have been 5-1 vs UGA. We played UGA almost dead even, but just fell a fraction short again & again.Or 2-8 vs CWS teams not named Ole Miss
Ole Miss beat us this year? News to me.Our games vs UGA were nothing like OM's game vs us. We could very easily have been 5-1 vs UGA. We played UGA almost dead even, but just fell a fraction short again & again.
Ole Miss was not competitive with us other than the one game they won. We were clearly a MUCH better team than OM, while UGA was about as close as it gets on the field-of-play.
Damn, that's the 2nd time in this thread I made a mistake like that! Didn't get much sleep last night, so my brain is in an even greater fog than usual.Ole Miss beat us this year? News to me.
Again, could very easily have been 6-3, given the way we lost those games to UGA.Or 1-8 vs. teams in the CWS that were actually there to win it, and 5-0 against the CWS imposters.
Well, that might have been true way back in March and early April. We were clearly a MUCH better team than OM,
Whoa....whoa....I'm on your team. I just dropped in the facts even though I look at it the same way you are explaining it. Context matters but so do facts. Our games vs UGA were nothing like OM's games vs us. We could very easily have been 5-1 vs UGA. We played UGA almost dead even, but just fell a fraction short again & again.
Ole Miss was not competitive with us other than the game we won 5-4 (and we didn't have McPherson). We were clearly a MUCH better team than OM, while UGA was about as close as it gets on the field-of-play.
