So these seven plus IU, Kansas, Louisville, UNC and Virginia leaves us two non-conference openings. Did I miss anyone?

VA is in Charlottesville. NC is in NYC, Kansas is in Chicago and Indiana is at Lucas Oil. I doubt if those will be included in the Season ticket package

Wish we had never played them .
I’m glad we did. It got BCG outta here. It was obvious it wasn’t gonna work with him so we were able to cut bait after only two years. His alcoholism had a large part in his firing but so were the bad losses and missing the tournament.

Honestly, I’m good with playing the cupcakes. SEC is a gauntlet and it will help us develop more chemistry and maintain better health going into the conference. Interestingly, the 2025 Florida team played a weak non-conference and won the title. I would understand the frustration for season ticket holders but in terms of winning on the court, I’m not sure we need to play a brutal non-conference schedule. Keep the distance on Kansas, stay healthy, pad wins and morale and then get ready for SEC play.

And then kick Kansas a.ss, and that would really make for some great chemistry 🥳

Our strength of schedule will be high so it needs some balance though I'd prefer to keep the cupcakes under the 300 line at most, preferably 250.

At a certain point our iron doesn't get anything but dulled by slicing paper.
