Start reporting them. The usual political suspects did this in the NBA playoffs thread.

Normally I dont care, let people say whatever they want unless it really is targeting or harassment. But this isn't the first time that they went crying to the mods, so its time to do the same.
I got banned from that thread I guess. I can’t post in that one thread only.

Yeah but does he stand any real chance? Feels like just a cash grab from an aging fighter.

That Carano/Rousey fight really pissed me off for similar reasons. Felt like a cash grab. Millions in payouts to roll around the ground for 10 seconds. Its hard for me to think that wasnt all in the plan.
It’s MVP promotions dude, it’s WWE yet the Paul Bros keep raking in the cash

Earlier today we ran into Strickland, he tossed his shoes and tried to run. They got him and we got his flip flops 😂

Great card one of best I seen save a few "maybe". Main was a incredible fight . UFC definitley took a big loss as the UFC s 2 biggest stars Pereria and Topiria lost. Topuria will never be same fighter after that beating . Pereria looked like he just doesn't care anymore sadly. Hokit is gonna be fun lol. Ruff is a rising star .
Great card just wish it wasn't Sunday and I didnt need to getvup at 430 - tired AF right now.

Pereira moved up classes it’s not easy to do. He should stick to lightweight. He’s much better there. Gane is tough. He just had the power to hurt him bad. He was wore out after a couple of those shots. Gathje is a tough dude, underdog sure, but he’s a warrior and proved he’s no pushover with that beating.

The only issue I had was it was too long. The delay obviously hurt, but it was still over 4 hours long on a Sunday. So many probably missed the main epic fight because of work and how late it was. Lots of replay watching today I’m sure.

I don't think the loss hurts Pereira or Topuria myself. They were both coming up and fighting great fighters in a higher weight class. Gaethje dwarfed Topuria, and Pereria is still a great fighter, his power just didn't translate with the move up

I think he has multiple broken orbital bones. If his corner hadn't thrown the towel the kid might have gone blind. He was getting wrecked

I think that's why he couldn't find the stool. I think he couldn't see at all. I think that's what caused them to throw in the towel.

Crazy chin and heart, but that fight should've been stopped at the end of the third.

Justin is a gigantic light weight. He took shots that would've ended most everyone else in the weight class. Ilia is tiny.

His power wasnt the issue imo. Hes atill got crazy power any weight class. He fought like he did the first Ank fight he just stood there and stared didnt really throw much. I could tell when he walked to cage he just wasn't engaged or locked in at all. Was weird like he just didnt wants to be there.

Illa is the better fighter he just fought a dumb fight - if a guy hits harder than you do and has a better chin than you - stand and bang fight you will eventually lose - he just charged in willing to eat Gaethjes bombs and it eventually destroyed his face.

You just described being intimidated. I know Alex got his weight there, but Gane was far stronger and more explosive IMO. Pereira is still a great fighter, but I don't see any change coming if they run it back

I think he had a cracked rib or two as well as the eye. Nothing good could have come from. 5th round. Topuria could have been injured permanently

Agree. He tried to put on a show. He did because that was an awesome fight, it just wasn't his best strategy because he pressed in too recklessly. You didn't even see his philly shell which he usually uses to perfection.

He landed several shots that would've ended anyone else. Justin is a huge lightweight with a crazy chin to boot. Just cant trade damage with him when you're tiny.

Topuria is a heck of a fighter. If he doesn’t have long lasting effects from this he will be fine. Highly skilled and has an iron chin.

Me too as it had to have an effect, no way he could see by then. I also think Justin broke his ribs with that round ending Knee to the ribs. He looked really hurt after that. Like he almost collapsed on that stool and missed it.

Idk man he’s got a damn good chin. Any other fighter would have been out cold by then I think. I don’t think that was his plan but walking into that uppercut really hurt his vision in round 2. It’s hard to guard after that. Then he started working his other side and it was over.

It’s admirable what he tried to do, like you said moving up that far is a tall ask. Gane is used to being that big. Alex probably lost some speed and stamina gaining all that weight too.

In addition to being absolutely worn out, that knee took the wind out of his sails. If anyone has ever broken a rib, it’s really really hard to breathe.

I've watched the UFC since the original when there were no weight classes or rules basically. Ilia had one of the most mangled faces I've ever seen. Justin's jab and uppercuts were just wearing his face out. But there were two times where Ilia looked like he was gonna finish Gaethje on the cage. But I got that fight totally wrong. Should've ended before the 4th. Ilia literally said he couldn't see outta his eye.

I did get Gane vs. Alex right. Gane is just to powerful and fast. He's always moving. Alex looked hesitant the whole fight but props to him for going for history. Wish I'd of known you guys were watching. I literally forgot I had Paramount+ till I saw the app on my phone last night. Then I was like that's right, I got it like a week before my illness. Thank God I saved my password, I'd never remember that. But good commentary guys 👍🏻.

Brother I've had bruised ribs that hurt for two weeks. I can't imagine having an actual broken rib, which when they showed that knee to the 4th he had to of broken some ribs or they're made of titanium. Brutal.

I dont think Topuria will fight for at least a year, which will take him out of a fight with Justin, if Justin even fights again and not retire. A fight with McGregor, provided he beats Max, would be a massive payday though

Exactly been saying Alex looked timid and gun shy the first ank fight but ank didn’t have the ability to finish him. Then the 2nd ank fight Alex just looked aggressive and dominated same with Alex gane fight Alex looked timid and gun but gane did have the ability to put him out and did so. So hopefully if they rematch Alex would be better.
