Anyone who has seen Alvarez play has to be excited that he will be playing for the Scarlet Knights.
I didn’t say I wasn’t but let’s not pretend we’re grabbing bunch of 5 stars here

Ya know, you probably would have told me not to get so excited when Monangai committed to Rutgers. What was he....a two-star ?

I mean you’re always gonna get diamonds in the rough. But let’s play the odds here
According to some here who watched Monongai and Berger play, Kyle was the better of the two in HS. He just wasnt hyped up as much as Berger. I'd take the offer list and eye test versus a ranking system that cant spend enough time evaluating all these players, especially the ones who they deem mid tier level recruits.

We don’t often beat out State Penn for recruits. Also had offers from Nebraska, Indiana, Iowa, Washington, and Colorado. Looks like a legit WR threat.
To be fair, he wasn't a take for Penn State and Indiana / Iowa / Washington weren't pushing.

However Colorado, Michigan State, and Nebraska all had real interest. Nebraska was actually pretty upset they didn't get him to campus and felt they could seal the deal on their OV. Second wideout they stole from Nebraska this cycle (Jamar Taylor).

Good get. But let's be real- Michigan State is in a bit of a tailspin right now, and Colorado may be too. Nebraska is valid competition, but how many NJ kids choose to go to Nebraska?

It's always amazing to me how there are certain people who just want to tear down good news when it lands.

Our receivers all have multiple offers from big time power 4 programs. That knowledge trumps stars by a country mile.

This in a heartbeat.
