I remember when Mark was a senior and the Booster Club was playing a softball game against the team behind South Mountain Arena. It was the first time I ever did anything with the Club and I knew no one. They batted me last and buried me in right field. But I didn't care. I was in my glory.

When I came to bat Mark who was catching seeing me bat last said I hope you don't throw the bat and hit me with it. Talk about lack of respect. LOL

BTW, most all the SHU players were awful with one MAJOR exception. James Major was outstanding and eventually I was put in center field and he hit a ball about 50 feet over my head into the trees.

As a loyal SHU basketball fan from the late 70’s, I consider SHU landing top recruit Mark
Bryant from Columbia H.S. turning around the basketball program. SHU entering the
Big East for basketball thanks to Richie Regan.
My 1st choice when choosing a college was SHU hands down. I enjoyed watching Glenn
Mosely, Greg Tynes and Randy Duffin at Walsh Gym when SHU played in the ECAC. I
subscribed to the Big East Briefs to follow SHU recruiting.
Georgia Tech according to Sports Illustrated was ranked in the preseason #10 in the nation.
Nick Galis with his midrange jumper just inside the FT line was unstoppable that night leading
to SHU upsetting Georgia Tech.
Congrats to Mark Bryant and NBA Championship with the NY Knicks.

This is Bill (formerly Flnj86)

I can’t walk without a walker (in wheelchair constantly) walk 20 minutes 4x a week in a so called restorative walking program with a PT person- one
person called Steven another person called Cindy.

I can’t talk now, but my mind is sharp also memory is sharp. I have a 150 IQ and this person Cindy always talks down to me (I was with another group of patients, one women another man- both in motorized wheelchairs. I was listening to their conversation-I can’t talk now which really frustrates me. I fully competent I carry a notebook - communicate by writing in a notebook.

Cindy made several derogatory comments ”He is writing a book now! (Real nasty). Yesterday she said real nasty “Go to your room”. Totally disrespects me all the time. Talks down to me all the time. I have no family, or friends to support me. I don’t deserve or shouldn’t be talked to in that way. Can some SHU fan on message board help me out.

Please call “The Springs”at Lake Pointe Blvd in Sarasota,Fl and help me. The phone number is 941 929-2700.
