NW started at the bottom and it was all downhill from there.
Or you could say....NW started out slowly and they gradually petered out.
They do offer a helluva prestigious world-class education. Faculty, research, a diploma people are going to notice.
Unfortunately education, faculty, research, diploma on too many of these recruits takes a back seat to $$, playing time, $$, NFL future, $$... they are easily swayed. Those "short term" things... which really aren't short term anymore as they can set up a guy for quite a bit of his life, dominate.
Too bad AI will take his job, probably before he even graduates . . . his job and millions of others. Humans are becoming obsolete at an unprecedented pace, except in the pages of prescient fiction such as 1984 and Brave New World. In only five to ten years a diploma from anywhere won't be worth the paper it's printed on. Buckle up.
Crazy thing, now-trillionaire Elon Musk is publicly stating humans will soon be obsolete in the workforce and that there will need to be a UBI system overseen by the government. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when.
If you read/listen closely to what Musk is saying, he is advocating for government takeover of production. Which means Musk believes Communism is the future.
