If they are able to keep all these guys this shaping up as a really good class. I love the fact that they are taking legit athletes. Guys who can move well and are explosive at all positions. So far so good.

I always thought Fred was too good of a coach not to get something going. For a while, it looked like it wasn’t gonna happen for him. Now he has to do the work to maintain.
We’ve had plenty of 4 star guys who ended as marginal players. I’m over the recruiting service star rankings. Watch them add stars to any kid who commits to Indiana. We need to get talented kids in and develop them regardless of what the internet scouts think. I’m hopeful that our new staff members can do that. It will be interesting to watch.
I understand your sentiment. Nebraska clearly hasn't been getting the talent needed to compete at a high level. We really only have the ranking services to compare year to year, as flawed as they may be. But, there is clearly a difference between top 100 players vs top 1,000 plus players.
I think the biggest thing is that this staff has not "earned" the trust of the fans to take 3 stars and make them great.
It would be one thing if they were awesome at it, like Indiana, who took a bunch of nobody players and kicked ***.
